I would absolutely go there again, the lady was very nice and very helpful, helped me get the right kind of screwdriver I needed and saved me from buying something I didn't need. Also, and that's a big plus, she made me feel very at ease and not at all silly or inadequate for not really knowing what I was doing, instead she gave me a couple of tips that were helpful. 100% recommended.
Fantastic DIY treasure trove which has come to my rescue so many times. Today Alison was so helpful in providing the tools to repair an old surfing helmet that otherwise might have been destined for the bin. The 10% loyalty discount is very much appreciated too. One of the establishments which make this part of Hove such a great place to live!

As all the comments say, Johnny and Jackie are fantastically helpful, makes such a difference! Great old school customer service, Johnny and Jackie actually know what they are talking about and are very willing to help. The store is very well stocked, good quality and good prices even compared with the bigger alternatives. Great place to shop local!
There is so much good stuff I could say about this shop that I'd be doing it all day, but I especially want to say thank you very much to Johnny and Jackie who are not only ever so friendly and helpful but the once held onto a big bag of shopping from savers, so nothing that could go off. They are fab and always cheer me up.
