You won't find a better pub in Norwich, this home of Chalk Hill Brewery. Full and buzzing, on a Monday night! Great range of real ales and others. Good food menu till 8. Nice staff, friendly dogs. Terrific darts team craic. Be there!

5 mins walk from the station. Friendly staff. Outside seating. Always seems busy, but not overly so when I went. Efficient staff. Good range of beers and wine by the glass. Food available, but I did not eat.

Came in for a lunch time treat and a few of us had the breakfast. The bacon was excellently cooked and the beans were nice and thick with the addition of garlic. The young lady who I went with has a lot of experience with foot long sausages and thought the it was a little dry. Although the girth, length and shape was pretty decent. I thought the bacon jam was a unwelcome addition, would have been nice if it was warm. The black pudding was very tasty but probably needed to be a little crispier. The sourdough bread was what I would say “crispy”, if you did not have teeth it would be extremely difficult to eat. Luckily I do so was ok. It was a nice breakfast though Others had the chicken sarnie which they thought was 8/10 with the nice homemade chips

Great little traditional pub with their own real ale brewery and a good selection of other ales and beers to boot. The food menu looks good although I have not tried it. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Only 5mins walk from Norwich railway station . They seem to have a regular darts team. Real wood fired pizzas at special times

Fantastic. The staff were unbelievable, on the ball all the time, never waited long to be served and very pleasant, they are a credit to the pub. The food looked great and there was plenty of people eating, the atmosphere was great also very animal friendly. Thank you all for a great day and hopefully plenty more to come.

Very busy with football and rugby crowd to the extent door men are required! Good selection of real ales and spacious. The front entrance terrace is coveŕd by a marquee, although too chilly to enjoy in the winter months.

Old haunt of mine and just moved back to the area. Obviously had to check it out. And... The beer is great, CHB (Chalk Hill Brewery) 4.2 the original is still refreshing and has great hoppy flavour and there are a number other beers up and down from CHB including Black Anna which is a stout and named after an historic landlady I believe, very nice. Food is big, big everything, well the chips aren't big in size but big in quantity. There's a huge covered outside seating area which is great in the summer and possibly the winter if you're a smoker. C&H is a good place to be.
