We had dinner here on 27. November on our way through the Broads. It was an absolute lovely experience to support this very welcoming community owned pub. Great home-cooked comfort food after a long day of walking. We had the Toad in a Hole and the Mushroom Stroganoff, followed by a Panettone Bread & Butter Pudding. The food was delicious at a fair price., and a great selection of local ales. The pub was busy with locals on a Thursday night. Stephen, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and a lovely playlist of music! We also chatted with some of the locals who are shareholders and volunteers. Really great place. We wish them well!!

We popped in today on a mission regarding my mum and dad and had lunch while we were here. I had the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Ciabatta, which was delicious and my son had the White Horse burger, which he genuinely felt was the best burger he had ever eaten. He also said the coleslaw was worth going for on its own.

My Favourite roast dinner in Norfolk! I come here every month with my nan and every time Iβm reminded how much I love the roast dinners at the white horse. Every time I go elsewhere Iβm always comparing the great value for money in Upton. The turkey roast is always delicious. Plus the staff are attentive and friendly. Will always be coming back.

Iβve enjoyed many great meals at the White Horse when visiting a relative in Acle, most recently in May. The staff couldnβt be more welcoming, the food is always excellent and the prices remain incredibly reasonable. The fish and chips is comfortably one of the best Iβve had in a pub. Highly recommended!

A very nice visit to a great community pub. Attractive pub and good outside seating. Excellent staff, warm friendly helpful and quick with good knowledge. Food menu varied frequently with specials, very fair proves and freshly cooked.. Choice of pie sizes, smaller is adequate for normal appetite, cajon chicken and rib combo with salad slaw and fries great all round. Good choice of beers and ciders, Attached community shop great and useful.

We were on holiday in the area and found this as the pub local to our accommodation, about a 20 min bike ride. On our first night we just had a nice couple of pints in the pleasant beer garden. On the Thursday we had a meal and both went for the pie which was amazing and one of the best pub pies I've had. The staff were really friendly and the beer selection very good and well kept. Its a shame we live 200 miles away otherwise I'd be a regular.

I am in mixed thoughts about this place. Lovely location and love the real pub feel. Sadly the execution could have been better. Staff were generally ok. However the lady with blonde hair and glasses sitting on here head could benefit from some customer service training. Overall it felt a bit disorganised and lacked leadership. Lots of staff, lack of direction. A few things were wrong with our order. Burgers were well received but the roast was average. Some real potential here but they ainβt quite there yet.

A lovely community run pub with friendly, local staff that made stopping here an absolute joy. We could park our motorhome in the car park for the night. The lovely and enthusiastic Jess told us about great local walks and made us feel really welcome. A small community shop is attached to the pub. We sat in the beer garden until the sun went down and enjoyed some lovely lite bites and a few pints.
