   We intended to stop for a pint on the way home but ended up staying for three. What a gem of a pub. The guy behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. Somehow I hadn't expected the inside to be quite so lovely (my last visit was 20 years ago to see Tony Hall). Lovely beer garden and interesting corners all over the pub, games, book exchange. We'll definately return.
