Love this pub, good beers, awesome staff, the spin to win is a nice touch! Throw 2 dice when you buy drinks, if its a double you fet 25% off tge round, get a double 6 the round us free! Love a little no lose gamble! I got 2 4's so a cheap round, got to laugh! The Oatmeal stout is yummy, been coming here for years, every time we visit norwich, it's old! Wooden beams, carvings, awesome food, well worth a visit!

Classic pub in a classic pub town. Excellent beer selection. Drenched in history, hence the name although it is officially the Gardeners arms. Lots of quirky corners and nooks. Well known for is sports coverage. Really well maintained with great decor. Top landlord and host, Phil.

I arranged my Dad's retirement party at The Murderers and we received excellent service. From making the initial query over the phone to the evening itself, nothing was too much trouble. We had the cafe bar area as a private space for our party and chose to have a hot and cold buffet. Requirements for vegetarian and halal food were accommodated. There is a wide selection of beers and ales available, and a great choices of other drinks, which pleased my Dad and his guests. The cafe bar area was a lovely space in which to hold a party. Highly recommend!

A year or so ago I came to Norwich for the first time with my friends. After hearing our favourite podcasters talk about how much they loved the murderers, we of course had to have a look. I can happily say itβs a very lovely place. We spoke to a guy behind the bar about said podcast and he loved the fact he got so many fans coming in. Turns out this man was the famous Phil (the owner)!! He even showed us around and told us all about the history of the place, he was genuinely a great guy. We stayed for some food and then bought some merch!! A few months later, I ended up moving down to Norwich from Manchester because I loved Norwich so much. One day I found myself stuck in the centre with a dead phone battery and no money. I tried to look around the city for a place to charge my phone. As expected, most places said no. Losing hope, I walked up to the murderers. I asked one of the bartenders and he instantly said yes and put my phone on charge. As I stood there waiting nervously around a group of grown men watching football, the bartender asked if I wanted some water or anything. He made me feel very comfortable. Iβve never written a review for any place so you know this is truly meaningful. I fully recommend this pub.

Not visited the Murderer's for several years. Nothing much has changed. It's as quirky as it's always been and a great pub. Recommend a visit if you've not been.

The history behind the place is so spooky and quit interesting. Friendly staff and a good menu.

A great pub! We have visited a few times on a couple of trips to Norwich. Service is good - beer is good - atmosphere is good. We have eaten twice and both meals (burger & chips and nachos) were tasty. Pub is a nice mixture of old and traditional but with areas where you can watch live sport. Our labrador enjoyed the pub too and received lots of fuss from fellow drinkers and staff. We would definitely visit again.
