Very friendly atmosphere and locals. As this is a real ale pub, I was hoping they'd have a real cider (I'm a CAMRA member), but I do understand that if real cider doesn't sell, there's no point getting it in.
Three excellent ales, all spot on. Brains Mild, Lacons Legacy and Adams Broadside. Enjoyed a lovely game of darts and a Thai chicken añd potato curry.
There isn't any food available but this is a friendly pub with great beer! Really welcoming and helpful, with a lovely beer garden. Easy to get to by public transport too.
A great pub run by a lovely couple, also dog friendly.

My colleagues and I had the privilege of having a takeaway breakfast this morning from the Crown Pub. Unbelievably good food and great value for money. The King Breakfasts are great as pictured in the first image. Second image is the breakfast bap. Staff were very freindly and welcoming. Very good that you can pay by Cash or Card making it easy to pay too. 5/5 well worth a visit.
