Went on a Monday for a late lunch, so the place was completely empty. Service was fine, chap who served us was nice. For me personally the music was far too loud to have a relaxed lunch, the decor was pretty tacky with the chairs having these gold tipped legs, most of which had either been removed or fallen off. Then received a “complimentary salad” which was a weird cold flattened gherkin thing with red cabbage. The bread was stale, cold and cubed. Incredibly dry and felt like I was putting loft insulation into my mouth, thankfully the £5 glass of coke that I ordered came to my rescue, £5 well spent. Not sure I’ve ever been that disappointed with bread before. I then ordered a lamb grilled kebab, rice was the nicest part, again the lamb was incredibly dry and needed to be dowsed in garlic sauce. The flavour was okay but the texture was pretty rubbery and dry inside. For some idiotic reason I had it in my head to then try a shisha pipe, as I’d never done one before. Tried the Savacca frozen Smurf - possibly one of the most unpleasant things I’d ever had. Tasteless, very rubbery / plastic tasting with a very odd aftertaste, was quite expensive. Better off going to the shop and buying a £5 vape. I would’ve raised this with the staff but just thought this was normal - until visiting a different Turkish restaurant and realising how poor the experience at Wama lounge was. If you’re looking for a Turkish around Kettering, best to go elsewhere.

The fish was not fresh and it was over cooked to hide the smell but did not work, the fish was too dry. As for the pasta, it tasted terrible, we only had a few mouthful, i did not enjoy the food but the environment and the waiters were great! I will not go back through because i wasted over £40 on the food that was stale and overcooked.

Absolutely amazing experience at Wama’s Lounge in Kettering! The food was incredible - full of flavour and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a hit! The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made the experience even better. The ambience was spot on - stylish, comfortable, and perfect for a chill night out or a special occasion. Deffo recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere and food here is perhaps the best quality that Kettering has to offer. The price and portion amount is amazing. I’ve came here multiple times with friends and every single time the customer service quality has been top notch. I decided to give their new Turkey Rasher Carbonara a try today and I have to say that it is perfect, the creaminess of it isn’t over the top nor too little. My friend ordered the mix Shish and said that it is spot on, in terms of tenderness and flavor. They also do have a Shisha Lounge which is also very relaxing as they also have heaters to keep us warm when it gets cold. You’re able to watch your Shisha get made, mix and match your flavors. It’s honestly just perfect. Special thanks to the Owners, Steve and Megan for always giving their 100%. In my opinion, this is the No.1 Restaurant in all of Kettering and would highly recommend this to anyone who has yet to try this place out.

Great food with a good ambiance. Had hummus and falafel starter, was £7.50. Very smooth and strong garlic taste, as I like. Lamb Adana kebab £14.50 for main, flavoursome and decent portion size. Will definitely be going back.

First time dining in, the place was ok in my honest opinion I have had better. The food was nice (usual food you can expect from a establishment of this kind) however the roasted vegetable salad consisted lots of purple lettuce followed by a couple of tomatoes and cucumber . I may return here if I’m in the area to give a second try.

Exceptional service and food. We celebrated our son's 23rd birthday and waiter was brilliant. Very polite, friendly and professional. All our dishes were delicious and fresh. We had mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes and the quality was amazing. The waiter went above and beyond to help us celebrate. Birthday Baklava slice with candle for was a lovely surprise. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We had Sunday lunch there today and the food was incredible. The service was also perfect and the staff went out of their way to make my mum's birthday extra special. The smell of the charcoal grill as you're walking towards it is fantastic! They also have a lunchtime deal which is two courses, a side and a drink for £13 which I cannot believe (we didn't go for this). We will absolutely return and spread the word about it.

My husband and I came here for dinner this evening as he wanted to take me to dinner for my birthday. On recommendation from a friend I chose here. We ordered the recommended mixed shish for 2 and requested that the lamb be well done as I am pregnant and cannot have pink meat. We had to send the lamb back 3 times and after that we gave up and left the remaining ribs as they were still pink. This was disappointing as the sending it back numerous times ruined the experience. On receiving the bill, no attempt had been made by the business to rectify this issue. We have never complained in a restaurant before and felt quite uncomfortable doing so, so after talking to the manager about this issue, and her deducting £3.75 from our bill we left feeling a little insulted. It was my birthday, they didn't meet dietary requirements which were mentioned several times, no attempt made as a good will gesture and then a £3.75 reduction. Food that I could eat was tasty, however, I have given it a 2 star instead of 3 as the food simply was not deemed safe for me to eat. I would advise anyone with dietary requirements or allergies to avoid dining here based on my experience. Also, the menu stated that the platter comes with mixed roasted vegetables, we did not recieve these but instead had a salad bought to the table with no explanation.
