   We arrived to a friendly welcome from AJ, drinks served quickly and efficiently. Neil helped seat us at our table, offering a choice of tables suggesting a warmer space by a window and radiator for an enhanced experience. We ordered and food came in a timely manner, well presented to match the menu images meeting expectations. Food was hot and very tasty. Further drinks ordered and we enjoyed a lovely evening. Thank you

   Been down this way for work for a week and popped into the cock inn almost every lunchtime. Nice spacious modern pub with nice touches of yesteryear- wood panelling and a fire place. Menu is great after a long day labouring- burger and drink and chips for under £14 Really big portions and includes a drink. Staff have been chatty and friendly- looks like they have loads of stuff going in each night here, be sad to leave it, great pub for a local.

   We booked online a few hours before arrival, and once we got there we were pointed to our table fairly quickly. It's a pub where you have a table number and then order at a bar, which to be fair with the kids works fairly well. With food ordered it didn't take overly long to come out - we were all fairly hungry and it was demolished quickly...! The food was hood and reasonably priced - the atmosphere was good and ideal for kids. We would not hesitate using this pub again!

   Booked a table in advance and was greeted and taken to our table promptly. Could have had more staff taking orders being it was very busy have a code so couldn’t order at the table. Starters came in good time and then mains delivered nice and hot. Second drinks ordered from the table, which worked well. Serving staff were excellent.

   Thought I’d try this place and meet a friend from work as it’s local and I hadn’t ventured inside yet. I must admit though i was glad I did! Not only did they provide a very warm (heating on, on a cold wet day!) environment, the bar staff greeted us with smiles and a friendly manner. Very impressed to see Beavertown Neck Oil on tap, this alone would bring me back! Haven’t had the opportunity to try the food yet, but noticed they cater for a variety of dietary requirements, although would be nice to see another vegan main or a burger on the menu. However the food I did see other customers enjoying appeared well presented and hot too. I’m surprised it’s taken me 18 months to get in to visit this welcoming and friendly pub, I shall certainly be back and recommend to others.

   This is our regular local where we eat, drink and occasionally participate in the quiz on a Sunday evening. The food and drink is of good quality and value and the staff and management are always helpful and tentative to your needs. As welcoming and hospitable as a local pub should be.    We didn't book and they were very busy and still managed to squeeze us in - even allowing us to move tables when one became free as we were a bit close to the door and it was cold outside. Our meals were delicious and arrived quickly. Excellent portions - really impressed with the vegetarian options - the curry was amazing and so nice it came with a whole slice of naan bread. We have been lots before and I have always enjoyed my experience. Thank you

   Great place with good food, excellent selection of desserts (highly recommend sticky toffee pudding!) and decent play area for kids. Spacious, clean toilets, very friendly stuff.
