Im a neighbour to this store and very disappointed in the new owners and their lack of neighbourhood support and camaraderie. I’ve been going to this convenience store and purchasing items at least every 1-2 days over the last 1.5 years because I believe in supporting small neighbourhood businesses, however, when needing to use their Evri drop off service to ship 2 50x30cm boxes to Australia they declined and said they would not hold them for me overnight stating that it took up too much space. I explained that I was moving back to Aus in a matter of days (an extremely stressful time) and that Evri sent me to their store for collection the next day, to which they replied “that’s something you need to take up with Evri”. Extremely unhelpful and inconsiderate.

I'd consider it my local and it has a fantastic selection of items but the one downside is its rarely open by it's displayed 7AM opening with it usually more accurately being opened around 7:20 it's a nitpick but can be inconvenient when choosing the shop on the way to work.

Just absolutely horrible customer service and very questionable business practices!! I went in after being notified by Evri that my parcel was ready to collect. I politely asked to collect it but the older man refused to give it to me, told me I was “too early to collect” and proceeded to YELL at me to leave and wouldn’t let me get a word in. 2 hours later, I get a notification that my parcel had been collected (obviously not by me) and when I showed up to the shop my package had fully been opened and they were taping it up!!!! I took a picture of this because I knew something would be stolen, and OF COURSE IT WAS. I called the shop to report my missing shorts and the solution they offered was to call me back if it turns up… the disrespect aside, this is the worst service I’ve ever been subjected to. Thanks for ruining my day and letting my items be stolen. Don’t recommend anyone to trust this place.

Have lived in the area for many years and I have always had excellent service. Useful for grabbing milk, eggs and many other things I may need last minute. Staff are always so friendly and I have had many a good chat with everyone. The owners have been serving the area for around 40 years, and it will be very sad when they eventually retire as you never no who may take over to replace them. Better the devil you know I think the saying goes.

I come here for the parcel services which are really good. But they also sell really good range of food for a local shop. Infinity foods branded and a good range of herbs and spices. Plus all the basics. Great place and interesting/friendly owners.

Really lovely staff, very organised, smiley and helpful. Family run so it feels like a proper old school cornershop! They have a good selection of groceries, and take good care of your parcels. My go to shop!

I am a regular visitor to the shop and always made to feel welcome when I'm there. It has a brilliant range of foods and I always get a good tip on the best wines. The staff are very nice and always brighten my day. Thank you

Genuinely love this place. Have a flat around the corner so regularly pop in for essentials, last-minute veg, occasional wine and odds & sods. The stock is fantastic and the folks who run it are properly lovely. I also love that they sometimes give me cooking advice (top tip - buy big punnet of chillies and then freeze them... you can chuck bits of frozen chillies into cooking). Great shop, great owners. Properly deserve our custom.
