   My insurance company instructed Delmonte Garages to recover my car last week from the A47 after I had broken down. Johnny was very friendly & made sure I was safe before recovering my car. They stored my car until the repair could be completed even putting plastic over my broken window to protect it. They were also instructed to drop it off to my home address following the repair which they did. My car was returned to me today by Craig who was also friendly and was happy to answer any questions I had about my car. Highly recommend Delmonte Garages as the service & customer service received was 10/10! Thank you!!

   Our car decided to give up the ghost as we tried to return home from our dog walk today. The breakdown provider contacted Delmonte and they really couldn't have been more helpful. They came out promptly, were polite and cheerful and when the repair garage messed up got everything sorted with a minimum of fuss.

   My van aired out in the middle of a busy junction today. Delmonte came within 30 minutes and Jonny helped me load the van onto a specialist trailer as the body of the van was very near the floor. He drove me to the repair centre for my van and then drove me back to my house. He was lovely to chat to and we had a good ol chin wag during our journey. He was professional, polite and considerate and made the day better after I caused mayhem breaking down. Truly a great member of their staff and if I ever find myself being stranded again I’d hope to get another Jonny! Highly recommended company and brilliant customer service

   Saturday afternoon 13th July, my car broke down just outside Norwich, your mechanic, and the recovery vehicle was quick to arrive. The driver was Carl, and he went above and beyond not only to put me at ease but also to arrange everything to get me home back to Tiptree Essex. Thanks, Carl, for all your help. 10/10 without his knowledge and experience, I don't know what I would have done. Many thanks. Andy

   I was involved in a collision which left my vehicle immobile and I was made to take these as my recovery by the police, although I had my own coming. Their recovery arrived 5-10 mins before mine turned up and I was made to send mine away because the driver for Delmonte had attached a tow strap to my car. Once my car was on the bed of the recovery I was then asked by their driver where I wanted the vehicle taken for repairs. I asked to take it to my trusted garage and then was told if the car would be charged for recovery fee, but if he took it back to there’s I wouldn’t be charged. So I decided to let them take my car to their shop. When I came time to pay I was still charged for recovering although I was told I wouldn’t be by the driver. The worker on the phone claimed that the driver wouldn’t have told me that and he would have no reason to lie about it (yet looking at other reviews they even had a driver once reverse into a car and just drove off, so defiantly sounds trustworthy) I was also made to sign documents before being able to see my car to say I was happy with the repairs and I have received my car. Once I received my keys and car back I got 3 mins up the road and realised my steering wheel trim has been pried up and snapped. And the man who dealt with my hand over claims “we never touched your wheel and didn’t have a reason to, must of happened in the crash” But anyone who knows anything about how these wheels a built know that they are built well with many clips holding the trim down and are hard to lift without a proper tool, and the edge of the area which has been damaged is very sharp. So if this did occur in the crash I would have a cut on my hand and would have clearly noticeable at the time. The man persisted that because I was in a crash my adrenaline would have been high and it’s easy to not notice at the time. But the width of the crack is the perfect size and place someone would have gone at it to try and lift it. Also my car was left with the fender liner not properly reinstalled and alignment wasn’t corrected after having the new lower arm installed. I’ve asked multiple other businesses and they claim that with a job like that they alignment should have been done. So needless to say I am very unpleased with the service I was given and the minimum effort was definitely put into it. But the staff did seem friendly at first, I was definitely lied to about the trim

   Took my transit van there to have clutch slave cylinder replaced, unfortunately four months later the part failed and Delmonte replaced it the very next day which got me back on the road before Christmas. Ok if you went elsewhere you could get it cheaper but I found the service they provide excellent, thanks Delmonte

   I take 3 business mini buses to Delmonte after getting fed up with the level service we were getting from a big maindealer and now I take our family vehicles for service, MOT ect this a brillant garage nothing is to much trouble all the staff are friendly and helpful and James the main man keeps me informed whats going on and they very reasonable priced I highly recommend this garage.

   My car broke down a few days ago, didn't have breakdown cover, so called these guys to take my car to a garage. I called on Monday morning at just after 9, and my vehicle was picked up just a couple of hours later. They charged a very reasonable price, the driver was friendly, and the phone operator was helpful and friendly too. Although I'd rather not be in the position where I have to use their services again, I would feel very confident in calling them should I need assistance in future.
