S&S were kind enough to book me in last minute close to Christmas, and gave me a check date the next day because my car failed the MOT. On the repair day though shorthanded, Josh was happy to have a quick look and fix it on the spot while I waited, as it was a small fuse replacement that was needed. Thank you for saving my Christmas!
Went in and told the guys my issue, said it may need the clutch bled from what I’ve been told. I asked how much and was told “can’t say as we may need to do more work” but asked if I’d like them to still bleed clutch, which I agreed to without asking for the price (silly me) was told it would take 5 minutes. I go back after a few hours and told it would be £96 which is absolutely unbelievable considering how simple the job was and that “the bleed didn’t release any air at all”. They suggested I could have an issue with the clutch/gearbox and it would need a replacement, which I thought was odd considering there was no inspection and I had it all replaced new last year. What topped it off was that my car was left across the road parked outside the pub. It’s a shame as the men are great to talk to and I’ve always had work done from there in the past but I won’t be returning.
Dropped the car off on Friday, Paul rung me back and told me what he thinks the problem is and quoted me, I gave the go ahead to do the work the following morning. Paul rung me back Saturday and said something doesn’t actually need changing, effectively saving me £100ish. Very honest and friendly guy, got the work done in good time!
Popped in on my way past as my car was due a major service and an mot, walked into a very busy place which is always a good sign to start with, then was greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy called Paul, also knew his stuff as one of his mechanics came through to ask him a question about something he was working on and the answer just pinged out. So anyway back on track, asked about an mot, major service and if there was a courtesy car available and I gave him dates that I would be available, quickly booked me in shook my hand and off I went. Came to day of drop off and dropped off car, collected key for the run around, got updated after mot and then called after the service was finished so all in all it was a quality service, great customer service and best of all the price was very very reasonable for what I had done! Thanks S and S Motors it’s easy to see why you are busy!!! Will be using you again.
Awful garage. Went in for an issue got told it was due to four different car parts on three separate occasions. Problem still persisted and even got worse. Charged over £600 and then left my car in the pub across the road not even in view and parked like this. Actually appalling do not go here!
Absolute amazing people took my car with couple msgs on the dash lads done diagnosing which cost me barely anything went to pick the car up and all the lights are gone
Had MOT and interim service today. MOT pass with no advisories. Service with no problems. Price exactly as quoted. Pleasant staff...will use again and recommended.

Took my car for an MOT. A few repairs needed, pretty much what I had expected. Got it back the next day, work done and at a decent price. Will use this garage again. Very good at keeping in touch with updates etc too.
