   Such a lovely cafe. Stopped here after a walk from Brighton with my dog. Dog friendly, and the staff were all friendly too. Quick service and great portion size for the cost. Really nice atmosphere and space. Would happily go back again.

   Second visit here… this time for a traditional English breakfast for one… no black pudding (blood sausage) thank goodness… beans included, similar to pork n beans in US… ham a little dry, otherwise very enjoyable… have loved every English coffee!!! Can’t beat view of the Channel beach!!! Very friendly staff!!!

   We went to The White Cliffs intending to spend an evening with a glass of wine looking out at the sea. We arrived 2 hours before closing to be told that everything was closed and only beer, wine and soft drinks were available. We asked for wine and got two plastic cups of undrinkable wine at £6 each. We asked why we couldn’t have proper glasses and were told that the glass washer had gone home - really?! 2 hours before closing? The server did offer us 2 for 1 on the drinks but as they were undrinkable that didn’t matter much. Terrible service and ‘couldn’t care less ‘ attitude. Won’t ever be returning. I only gave 2 stars because the views are beautiful.

   Always Loved this venue but sadly let down by limited menu and patchy service. Small selection of Pasty or Quiche served with No option of side orders on paper plates with wooden disposable cutlery £5 each !! All feels a bit shabby no chic and unloved in places . Come on guys !! Thank god it’s dog friendly and the view makes up for it .

   Half way through my walk, an ideal place for refreshments, had a hot chocolate, and fantastic fruit cake. No real delay in service, .....as reported elsewhere ! although the cafe was very busy at the time I visited. To my mind being busy is a tribute to the quality of the food !
