Great recently refurbished hotel with fantastic views of the ocean. The room was nice and modern however the bathroom was a very big let down. The bathtub was extremely worn, with lots of scuffs and marks which consequently led to us not taking a shower. For £240 a night, the cleanliness if the bathroom is shocking. Other than that the hotel staff are friendly and the location is great.

A wonderful visit - perfect location for a weekend away, right opposite the beach and i360! Staff were great and we were given warm cookies on arrival - nice touch! The room was modern and large with lots of lovely welcome treats. Waking up by the sea - you can't beat it. The breakfast was lovely with vegan options including croissants. I would definitely return.

Wow ! This hotel is beautiful. They have kept all the original features and it's stunning. We'll presented modern rooms with underfloor heating. Restaurant has a great menu and the service is very attentive. Breakfast was as you would expect lots of hot and cold choices including pastries. Pool area is lovely. My only complaint about the pool is disabled access to changing rooms is difficult if you can't walk well but they do provide a disabled loo / changing room on pool level as a back up. The pool changing area is a bit dated but I'm sure they're getting to that you can see they've done a lot already. My mum loved it she wants to go back we went as a birthday treat.

Hotel and room were great and have recently been referbished and looked amazing bed was so comfy. I had such a lovely birthday weekend the spa, staff and breakfast were so nice, I will definitely be back! The only problem I had was that the heating wasn't working in the room, but the staff helped to sort out the issue.

We stayed here recently for the 1975 concert and loved it. The rooms are modern and spacious and the hotel itself is beautiful. There was some refurbishment being done but we had no noise issues. A lovely seaside stay

Lovely stay at this grand hotel. Rm 610 had a great view out over the beach and the remains of an old pier. Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was comfortable as I would expect from Hilton. Ample breakfast options in an extravagant lounge.

Well, it was an ancient grand hotel and it will be in the future. After renovation in 2022 the rooms are very modern from their interior perspectives and the place is directly located at the waterfront. To redesign the rest of the building infrastructure, the probably need a couple more months. Make sure to take you earplugs with you or choose this place in 2023 as earliest. Starting than - I am absolutely sure that this will be a fantastic spot to stay in Brighton with every important sites in walking distance. I enjoyed staying there

Staff are brilliant and work with what they have. But it certainly isn't worth the £150 a night. Rooms have nothing in them. Not even a wardrobe to hang clothes. The hotel is very worn and tired. I believe it is being refurbished but that should reflect in the price and told before booking. Our room was freezing so staff brought us up a portable heater which helped a little. We had no view what so ever apart from bird poo and an ally. As stated staff are lovely and are working with what they have.and the breakfast was great with a variation to cater for all. In general were very disappointed considering the price.

We had a double room, we paid £200 for one night's stay in early June 2022. The hotel is very large, some parts of it inside needed a little renovation with some peeling wallpaper in one or two areas; at the time we went they had scaffolding up on the front and they were doing some renovation inside as well. Overall the hotel felt generally well looked-after. Check-in was at 4 pm, check-out at 11 am, and this felt a little short given the price, particularly the late check-in time but I imagine it being a large hotel it must take some time to go around all the rooms and prepare them for the next guests. In our room the living area was a very good size with a desk area and single-seated armchair. The bed was a proper double, as opposed to two singles pushed together. The room was very clean in every respect, floors, bedding, towels and bathroom facilities. The bathroom was very small; no possibility for a couple to get ready in together, and barely enough room for one - there was 1 cm clearance between the inward-opening bathroom door and the toilet, and you couldn't enter the bathroom when someone else was standing at the sink. The only window in the room could not be opened and the glass was frosted, so it wasn't possible to know what the weather conditions were like outside. There was no overhead lighting in the main room, so combined with the frosted glass, even with all the lights on in the room it wasn't light enough for our taste, in even in the day because there wasn't sufficient electrical lighting in the room. The air conditioning was very good at keeping the room cool if needed. We didn't make use of catering facilities but the dining room seemed very large with a buffet-type arrangement for breakfast. They said that they had vegan options but we didn't sample them. Overall I'd recommend, but if going as a couple I inquire about a larger bathroom, and a room with a clear window, and ideally one that will open. Not-withstanding the nitpicks, we enjoyed our stay.

Location wise, it's great. Right on the seafront and away from the noisy bars. We found the parking easily and a spot with loads of space. The hotel is being renovated when we stayed and boy does it need it. We were lucky enough to stay in a room that had already been renovated. Decoration wise, it was lovely. However we found it roasting hot. Couldn't turn the temp down but found a fan in the wardrobe which helped (despite having to get up to turn it on again once the timer went off). The shower was a trickle, no mini bar and where's the standard English Breakfast Tea??? Breakfast was fab. Only 1 lift was working for the whole hotel which made using it with luggage painful. Will hopefully be fab when it's fully renovated although think it probably needed it years ago.
