Brilliant sinsei's and staff at this dojo. They teach great self defence skills and also teach inerstrength, confidence and mindfulness. It hes helped to aid my son in to a strong confident boy, I couldnt recommend enough.

My children have been coming here for years. We’ve tried other marital arts in other places and nothing compares. The hand build beautiful dojos, the chilled cafe with lovely atmosphere, the friendly welcoming staff and the high standards upheld by all are a huge testament to everything they have built there. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

My twelve-year-old daughter has been attending lessons with Stuart and his team since she was four. The teachers are all amazing and other centre staff are super friendly and give the place a welcoming feel. The facilities are great: a really nice cafΓ©, toilets, changing rooms should students need them, and plenty of martial arts and Japanese culture-related merchandise. The standard of teaching, from basic respect through to complicated training sequences is very high, with all teachers being very supportive and encouraging towards all students, demonstrating patience and understanding of every child’s abilities and limits. I would definitely recommend Stuart and his team at the Samurai Centre in Brighton. They even teach adults. It’s never too late to learn a new skill… and a little extra discipline!

A fabulous dojo where respect for yourself and others, personal growth and being the best you can be is at the core of all the teaching . Brilliant teachers who are dedicated to their practice and committed to improving themselves and their students. We’ve been part of the Samurai family for 7 years now and would recommend to anyone old or young.

I could not be more satisfied. The instructors are extremely professional, patient and dedicated. They have an approach that values every effort the children make, which motivates them to keep trying. My son feels at home here. My son has learned not only self-defence techniques, but also important values such as respect, humility, patience and dedication. Every class feels fun and dynamic, and there is always something new to learn. In addition, the facilities are spacious and well equipped. There is a super cosy cafe and Japanese food. I would definitely recommend this school to other parents who are looking for something more than just a physical activity for their children. What I like most is how they tailor the training to each child's abilities, helping to build their self-confidence.

My Granddaughter attends a class here, the sensei's (teachers) are of a mixed age and are really dedicated to teaching the children the art. Theres a cafe you sit in whilst the children take their class, and its pricing is fair.Would definitely recommend this place, and all the staff and sensei's

I can't recommend highly enough. Our 6 year old has been 5 months at Samurai Centre and absolutely loves it. The values that are encouraged are so useful to young ones, self discipline, humility, building confidence and the training the kids are getting is awesome. Excellent kind role models for boys and girls.

Both my kids have attended from a young age and still enjoy it as teenagers. They've learnt a plethora of physical and mental skills from kind, patient and knowledgable teachers. Great environment, I would recommend the school to any parents for their children's self confidence, safety and overall development. Thanks!

The Samurai Centre is awesome. We have been coming here for 2 years. My son loves the training, he is always very proud when he achieves the next belt. All the sensai and staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe area is a wonderful oasis, although it gets busy with us parents waiting. Prospective new students get 2 free trial sessions, which really helps to know whether it is for them without making a commitment.
