Absolutely gorgeous hotel and great choice for our Christmas party. Beautiful grounds, elegant dining room with a wonderful wishbone staircase. Very impressed and was very very drunk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming throughout. The food was very good, with a simple menu offering 4–5 choices per course. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel itself is full of character, reflecting its age, so it doesn’t have the look of a brand-new property, but this adds to its charm. The location is excellent—peaceful and just outside the towns. A wonderful spot for a short getaway, especially for those who enjoy golf. Another point to make is that it does not have a swimming pool so if you where to take kids with you this would be one less thing they could do.

I had my wedding here on the 8th August 2025. Abby and Howard did such a fantastic job. Our ceremony was in the cave at the follies, our reception was at the hotel. Our day was absolutely perfect and all our guests complimented all the work Abby and Howard did. The day ran smoothly and there was no stress or issues. The hotel was spotless and extremely clean. They moved our belongings to the bridal suite, and left us a lovely surprise when we retired to our room at night. The food was absolutely delicious. Food was delivered warm and in a timely manner. Abby even assisted me with setting everything up ready the day before my wedding. I cannot compliment Abby and Howard enough. Abby especially has been wonderful over the last 18 months of wedding planning. She has always been polite, responsive and so incredibly kind and welcoming to my family, guests and ourselves. Our wedding was a very long day and Abby and Howard were absolutely exceptional. We truly cannot thank you enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I would strongly recommend couples to get married at the follies, it an intimate wedding is preferred. It was beautiful and the views were just breathtaking. We had additional guests for our wedding breakfast, with further guests for our evening reception. All at the Hawkstone Park Hotel. Abby was very accommodating to our needs. Abby, Howard, we will never forget your kindness and hard work. Thank you both so much. We will forever be grateful. Highly recommend!!! x x x

Rooms are very pleasant. It could have done with a fridge. Staff are very polite and helpful. A water dispenser is available to fill up your own bottles. The hotel whilst lovely is very golf and corporate orientated. If you love golf, it is the place for you. Stunning location to play. Breakfast was geared up for cooked breakfast only. It's not great if vegetarian or gluten-free. Probably meets the needs of golfers. Nice meals are available throughout the day. Either in the restaurant or golf club. Within walking distance of the Hawkstone Park follies. There are some nice pubs in the nearby villages as well.

We visited for the Santa Safari. The staff are great and the it's always a great experience for both the kids and adults. This year's walk through the caves seemed shorter possibly a sign of the times, but overall still worth it. Can't praise the staff enough. They always make it a magical time for the kids.

We played the old course on Friday, had dinner in the evening and stayed in one of their rooms, then had breakfast and played the championship course on the Saturday. The courses were amazing, the service from all the staff was great, the food was lovely but, I had to mark the rooms at 3 stars because they're very basic. It was clean but very small and there's no fans or AC, so the room was very hot. Too add insult to injury, you could only open the window about 10" as they had a strip of wood nailed in to stop them opening any further. Having said that, I am being super critical because I had a great weekend and I'll definitely go back soon. If it wasn't so hot I probably would have marked the room 4* - maybe even 5* because its such good value for money. It was 35°c, so its not often that that's going to happen. Overall its a great venue with great golf and amazing scenery.

2 good golf courses which provide good challenges. Greens in great condition. Rooms are fine for overnight stay. Good is of decent quality. Whilst service isn't bad it isn't particularly welcoming at all times.
