   Thank you so much today for looking after our family as we stayed to watch The Lions Test in a welcoming and very friendly little pub! We checked the day before to see if the match would be on and they confirmed it would! We were there just before 11am through to 1pm. The locals welcomed us too. When we’re up this way again on our holidays we’ll be calling in again for a welcome pint of Wainwrights! Thank you! ☺️

   As the ex mayor of Whitchurch I always used to drink in Old Eagles! Over the past few years I haven’t visited as much due to the pub dropping in standards! Since the pub has reopened it’s nice to see a local friendly face behind the bar! Well mannered and always smiling landlady! Wish her all the best for the future! And will visit more often.

   Great pub with a great atmosphere, ever since the new Landlady took over the atmosphere and groups of people has changed making it into a lovely place to be on a night out. I come here most days for a game of pool and a go on the juke box, come to the Old Eagles you wont regret it.

   The Old Eagles is a historic landmark and heritage building. It is the oldest bar in Whitchurch and definitely worth a visit for anyone in the area. Not only does it have inviting and rustic decor, but it also has the most amazing bar staff around. They will make anyone feel as if surrounded by friends. They offer a good selection of alcohol and snacks, and are always happy to advise to fit anyone's taste. Make sure to give the jukebox or the pool table a go.
