We had a great time at the black bear, the service was excellent, food was lovely and atmosphere was cosy. We would definitely return

I called in for an early lunch on my own. My husband was golfing nearby. I'm not used to going in pubs on my own, but I felt very comfortable. The pub had a cosy atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. I'd definitely recommend the Black Bear.

What a fabulous place, good food and drink. The inside is stunning and the garden is lovely place to sit out in the sunshine amongst all the flowers and shrubs.
Stopped for a "lite bite" really nice friendly staff. The garden is beautiful with tables well set out. Food was delicious.
Best foodie find on our Canel Boating Honeymoon so far! Absolutely lovely food, perfect service and good choice of ales. We arrived just before kitchens were about to close yet we were made to feel like Kings. They're dog friendly too, so we could sit inside with our little pooch. Will definitely be aiming to come back here on our way home.
The Black bear is a great pub, clean cosy with welcoming attentive staff, the service was first class. The menu is varied the food quality is excellent. You couldn't ask for more, I will definitely visit again.
