   We wish we could give Gplanera 10 stars! We bought some lovely Ercol furniture about a year ago. Mark was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us great advice on how to care for the furniture and has even responded to follow up aftercare questions many months after buying. Mark provides all around excellent customer support at every stage of inquiry and buying. Not to mention, he sells absolutely beautiful pieces and puts a lot of care into making sure they are in great condition at point of sale. We highly recommend buying from Gplanera!

   Mark is lovely. We were so nervous about inviting a buyer in to help clear mum’s house but we can only thank him for making what, for us, was a sad day such an interesting and fun day. Mark knows so much about G-Plan furniture! On the phone he had assured us 'I'm not a chuck it in the back of the van type' and indeed he cared for every piece – fondly, carefully and ingeniously packing the items in his van. Mark is friendly and kind - and a herbal, caffeine-free tea drinker! We would thoroughly recommend him.

   What a fabulous experience it was to deal with Mark from GPlanera! Right from the get-go he was super professional, with his product knowledge far surpassing that of most retro dealers out there. Gplanera is also priced right, particularly if you consider what you would pay for a contemporary piece of furniture of the same quality. And on top of all of that, Mark's care when packing our furniture was outstanding. As someone who used to buy and sell retro furniture myself, I can say with confidence that Gplanera is a step above what the market generally offers.    My sister owned a couple of bookcases from Mark and I’ve had it on my list to own some in the future and fortunately that time has come! What can I say about Mark? He’s honest, reliable, communicative, passionate, friendly and his work is just stunning. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our order, entertaining my requests for photos of different shelves stood next to each other so I can visualise. The delivery was incredibly smooth and meeting Mark gave me even more confidence in his product. We can’t help but smile when we look at the bookcases, friends and family are wowed!

   I have now purchased a total of 5 shelving units from Mark. The first two were standard stock models and we were so delighted with them that we put in an order for 3 bespoke units. Mark is responsive, helpful and goes to great efforts to ensure you are happy with these shelves. They are made from reclaimed wood and come with a wax finish that will ensure they work in all environments from a warehouse apartment to a period property. The finish is slightly rustic (but not overly so) and the build quality such that I will hide in one of the shelf units in the event of an earthquake. I sense that these shelves will outlast me. Very happy. Great value for the quality and overall end product. Mark was ultra cautious when we were getting into the details of the bespoke units as he didn't want to make any mistakes - you are in safe hands.

   'Welcome book lovers you are among friends here.' Mark's bookcases are a wonderful find. The quality and service have been faultless and I cannot recommend either Mark or his bookcases highly enough. To find someone who truly understands what books really require is precious. The zigzag design makes all the difference and I no longer have shelves sagging under the weight. These are real heirlooms in the making. They are well worth every penny and if any reassurance is required with regards to upfront payment, then please rest easy. Mark is generous with his time and I even had my cases delivered to Exeter, exactly when promised. At last I have my own small slice of the Bodleian and it gives me enormous joy. There are never too many books, just not enough shelving and I have finally found the solution to that!

   Beautiful bookcases, we are delighted with them. They are well-made and solid, in deep, warm coloured wood, and look lovely, as well as being extremely practical, with room for large books on the bottom. I wasn't able to go and see them beforehand so bought them after seeing the photos online, but I like them even more than I expected. Communication was excellent and delivery fast and reasonably priced, exactly when we were told it would be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend gplanera.
