“Absolutely excellent customer service - This store is, somewhat conveniently, located next door to the Brighton and Hove recycling centre. Arriving yesterday with a client, we'd assumed (incorrectly) that I'd be able to unload old furniture at the tip, giving plenty of time to select new items at the store. The van I had hired was too large to be allowed at the tip and the staff of the shop kindly let us park in their car park to carry everything round by hand AND lent us a trolley to make this easier. They were incredibly helpful during a stressful experience - even though we then ran out of time to shop from them! Having had this excellent experience from all the staff members present (I'm so sorry that I didn't note down your names!) I will certainly be making sure that we return to purchase replacement items here. Many thanks for going out of your way to help.”

“Mark the senior salesman was very helpful in the initial sales and the sofa was delivered as promised before Xmas 2022. Although there was a slight problem with the sofa bed , the store manager Paul went more and above his job and fixed the problem on-site on a Sunday afternoon. The quality and service have been faultless and I cannot recommend either Mark or his bookcases highly enough. To find someone who truly understands what books really require is precious. The zigzag design makes all the difference and I no longer have shelves sagging under the weight. These are real heirlooms in the making. They are well worth every penny and if any reassurance is required with regards to upfront payment, then please rest easy. Mark is generous with his time and I even had my cases delivered to Exeter, exactly when promised. At last I have my own small slice of the Bodleian and it gives me enormous joy. There are never too many books, just not enough shelving and I have finally found the solution to that!”
