But Poppy service is personal, reliable ands my dog seems to be smiling when he returns home from his 3 times a week pack walk with Poppy for an hour. She is always prepared for the weather conditions, like water for all the dogs when out, when hot! My dog adores her, and gets so excited when waiting for her to arrive!”

“I stayed at No.27 B&B in the Villiers room, and it was absolutely spotless. Wayne and Diego were so welcoming, helpful, and friendly, helping us with our bags and any questions we had. Breakfast was lovely, and hosts were both very considerate about our allergies. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Thanks, Wayne and Diego - you have a beautiful place.”

“I love this shop! Hannah is very helpful and knowledgable. We regularly ask advice from Hannah and always buy Riley's kibble and treats from her. For such a small shop it has an incredible range of food, treats, toys and accessories for dogs, cats, birds and other pets. It's fab!”

“Our little Italian Greyhound Whippet cross hates getting her nails clipped but all the staff at Brighton Pet Spa were very understanding, persistent and caring and got the job done! Highly recommend and will be back to get our pooches claws trimmed.”

“AMAZING! What a fantastic job, we have two very happy pooches. Allison and her brilliant team did a beautiful job of our Shizus post Lockdown! Best hair cut I think they have ever had in their lives. Allison was so attentive and careful asking about any requirements or issues they had. They have come out looking and smelling fabulous and happy- with bows on! Will be back. Highly recommend.”

“I recently placed on an online order with A Coombs pet centre. I'm so impressed. I'm usually a bit nervous ordering from smaller companies but the delivery, speed and customer service was amazing. My cat has a condition and the vet gave me some recommendations for food for my fussy cat. I like that they sell some of these more unusual monoprotein/hypoallergenic cat foods which seem hard to find online. They also sell the hills and royal canin wet foods in bulk and by the sachet/tin and it seems rare that companies sell by the sachet/tin and this is so helpful to try before you buy in bulk. I actually found them by asking chat GPT to find a retailer that sold all the foods I needed to purchase. I emailed them on a Saturday morning with a query and they got back to me within an hour, I placed an order about 9am and my order had arrived by 2pm the following day to Cornwall! That was with the free delivery. I'm really impressed and will be ordering from them again in the future.”

“Jack and Maggie’s is a haven of goodness for your pets. Rarely do you find such excellent advice, service and products in one place but in addition to that they are very reasonable and fairly priced. Walk in their door and you will be warmly greeted by any one of the team. This is a lovely place offering only good things for your pets by people who really care about offering the best service for humans and products for pets. So so helpful and I am so pleased I found them, my whippets are thriving now!”

“Great shop, staff are really knowledgeable and always keen to help. Great variety of products. My dachshund loves the treats I get him from Pets Corner, especially the chicken steak strips, which seem to make his coat glossy and give the fur on the end of his willy a glossy full bodied appearance, for his size it’s quite a long willy so this does improve his look. Great local pet shop.”

“We were struggling to find our pup’s vet prescribed food anywhere in the country and not only did A Coombs have it in stock (their website has a very good availability indicator), it was priced competitively and they shipped it out post haste in fantastic packaging (vastly superior to Pets At Home). The team were responsive by email as we were so unsure they would actually have it in stock but indeed they did. A wonderful team and far better than the big chain stores. We’ll be using them again for sure!”

“Hi so I had an enquiry about my Dog and as he’s on antibiotics I needed to get some info and products that would help boost his immunity and gut health. I spoke to a very knowledgeable lady called Poppy and she was so informative and helpful along with a very friendly attitude . I got some immunity powder from Lysiphar and he’s now started this along with pre and probiotics . Thank you to Poppy for taking such good time and attention to us .”

“Phoebe was so patient, kind and accommodating with my elderly difficult, rescue dog, that I have had no hesitation in taking my new puppy to her and recommending her to my friends. We have had two practise visits and a first clip and my Labradoodle skips happily in looking scruffy and out looking stunning. Grooming will be such an important part of a curly coated dog's life that it is such a relief to know that Phoebe's place is somewhere he is happy to go and I love the end result. “Had a wonderful stay at the Sea Spray Hotel! The location is perfect, right opposite the seafront and Brighton Pier. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with local recommendations. A lovely hotel that offers great value and a personal touch. Would definitely stay again! 10/10”

“Fantastically friendly, accommodating and charming hosts. Fun and quirky interiors. Incredibly clean. Located moments from the seafront. Really delicious breakfasts using good ingredients. Even the coffee and tea selection in the room is well stocked and well thought out. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm next in Brighton!”

His product knowledge and advice was extensive and very useful when choosing products that would be most suitable for my dog. Although this store isn't that close to home, I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area and recommend this store to others.”

“Not only the best experience at a pet store, but possibly the best customer service experience I've ever received. I recently moved to the area and have been visiting this store for all of my dogs needs. Every time I visit the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They remember me and my pet, as well as his needs and use that knowledge to make well informed recommendations. I must say, it is a joy going in every time. They always seem genuinely happy to see me and my dog and it's very clear they have a deep love for animals. My dog doesn't like being touched on his behind and one of the staff even sat with me and my dog and showed me some training exercises to help combat that. I can't recommend this place enough, if you are in the area, please pay these guys a visit.”

“I had to visit the PDSA with a cat I found that had been run over. The staff were brilliant, letting me go through the side door so people in the waiting room wouldn't see the cat that had died en route. They were kind and considerate and helped me find the owner of the cat shop I could tell them what had happened.”

“We have had wonderful stay. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Traveling with 1 year old baby we needed peace, quiet and cleanliness to be on top and Staybridge delivered all of that. Everyone was so very friendly and welcoming - from breakfast team, everyone at the reception and housekeeping staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone - any requests we had, any queries was promptly dealt with. Breakfast served each day was fresh and a selection was good. Special thanks to Elena and Inta for making our stay worry and stress free.”

“Good accommodation with great snack boxes and generous tea/coffee but tiny bathroom (shower, loo and handbasin crammed in a tiny space) means it can only score 4. Never saw any staff so didn't rate service, but they did organise parking permit. Location is good five to ten minutes from centre. Feel I'm rating it lower than it deserves.”

“I had a vet appointment for one if mt kittens, so I got on the bus to hollingbury. The vet was very kind, considerate and professional. I am based with their service. I also bought some trea5s for the kittens, while I was waiting. The shop has a large variety of products for dogs, cats, rabbits, and aquarium fish.”

“I didn't even know this place existed! I've now been there 3 or 4 times since buying my fish tank. Great array of fish, knowledgable and friendly staff, an awesome place for all of your aquatic needs. Each time i've been it has been quite busy, so be patient when waiting for assistance. I'll be a regular customer here.”

Yemisi is fantastic with our kitten Ted and makes our appointments easy & enjoyable for us both! “Fantastic experience with Southdown vets. Always really helpful on the phone and really friendly on reception. Vets have all been really helpful. My dog recently had to be sedated for ear checks and the attending practicioners (sorry I didn't catch their names!) made him really comfortable and were very understanding with him being very nervous. Wouldn't hestitate to recommend to anyone.”

“Stayed here in a tent. I'm a solo traveller, so it cost me £49 for two nights. Facilities were top class and clean. There is a freezer in the block close to the reception. They don't have a shop, but there are plenty of shops a short distance away, including a large Asda. There is also a small bistro on-site that sells fresh pizza, pealla and lasagne etc. Easy walking distance to the marina. The town is about 45 minutes walk. I used the bus at £2.50 each way. The bus is the 1X and the bus stop is opposite Lidl a short walk away. You catch the same 1X back at bus stop C on north street (close to the royal pavilion) There is access to the south downs walk a short walk away, so plenty to do.”

“We choose this Screwfix branch because the staff are really knowledgeable and helpful. In particular Johny, Duty Manager, who is exceptional. He is always prepared to go the extra mile to find solutions and make us feel valued as customers. It is because of him that we choose to return to the Kemptown branch.”

“We had an excellent stay, great room, good food and best of all the staff. Our check in was very good (Poppy if I remember correctly). Mario the maitre d at breakfast was really great. You remembered it was our 40th anniversary which was nice. When we left we both agreed yt had been a great stay and we would return. All the staff had given great service ( and more friendly than the Savoy). Thank you”
