   After travelling for over 5 hours today from England, we stopped to do the final bits of our Christmas shopping. The store was very busy, the staff were very busy but every member of staff we came across was happy, cheerful and very helpful . Thank you!

   not a single manned checkout open. my partner and i had a whole trolley full of shopping yet they expected us to check out at the basket self-serve? not even a trolley self-serve open either. absolutely ridiculous. couldn't stack all of the shopping onto the tiny scales so it wouldn't weigh properly and kept having issues. will take my £100 shop elsewhere as they clearly do not care about customers.

   Not often you think to review a supermarket, however I just wanted to highlight one of the colleagues, Catherine who served me on the till today. A very polite young lady who asked if I needed any help sorting all of my shopping out after the scan as you shop stopped working mid shop. I was quite stressed shopping with two young children and the thought of having to scan it all again was a nightmare. However Catherine told me to take my time and even asked if I needed any help taking the mass of shopping (haha) to my car. So thank you

   I’ve been here multiple times, but today I had an unpleasant experience with a lady named Dianne. Firstly, she spoke to me with a rude attitude, saying “hang on” in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. Secondly, my mother’s bag is a bit hard to close, so it takes her a little longer. I noticed Dianne shaking her head while waiting, as if it were something wrong or unacceptable. That reaction made me feel very uncomfortable and left me with a bad impression. I usually don’t make comments, but this experience really bothered me. Nothing to do with food

   Impressed with the phone shop - especially Roy who did a great job getting me a new iPhone. He really knows his stuff. We also loved the cafe. I ordered a breakfast which came really quickly and was lovely.

   My biggest compliment to this shop is that I rarely don’t find what I need. There’s a few specialist food items which it lacks, but that’s understandable given its locale. The aisles aren’t as generous as some of the newer superstores but a recent refurb has really improved the refrigerated and freezer sections. Also, the new layout of the fruit and veg section is much nice and has that green grocer vibe.

   My husband and I are disabled so placed an order with Tesco Bridgend to be delivered between 5 & 6pm on Saturday 21st Jan 2023. It didn't arrive. Phoned and they said they couldn't deliver due to road conditions and would deliver Sunday evening. They said they would text when they were due. Had no text and again no delivery. Phoned Monday evening and was told the van had broken down yesterday and they will deliver today between 1 and 5pm. I will believe it when I see it. Won't order again

   Just been in Tesco Cowbridge Road this morning, 22 Sept and its manic, akin to Xmas Eve yet there were 10 tills closed, massive queues down the aisles as was the self serve checkout.i even went to one till, started to physically put items on the belt only then to be told till is closing!!.i suggested to staff member to get more staff, totally disorganised and she huffed and puffed and pulled a face at me.....what exemplary customer service there.....Not!! Frustrating, will not visit again.Asda is far more organised and with friendlier staff.terrible experience today!
