I came to return clothes and they closed at 10 past 5 when their closing time was half past. I came back later in the month and they said they wouldn't give me a credit note because it gone over 28 days rubbish service
Went in here last week may 2025 looking for a second hand double mattress there was one in the window looked at the price £80 for a second hand double mattress and thought are you completely crazy. They have mattresses in charity shop on high street for £40. Ymca charity shop what a rip off

Usually go here for clothes as I’m tight on money and the staff are typically amazing. Today I went in to get some clothes for winter, and the two staff members behind the desk(older women, both dark hair) were acting as if they couldn’t care less and would rather be elsewhere. When I went to pay, the one who served me had no customer etiquette and spoke to me with such attitude and tone. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here from now on. Used to be my fav but if staff are acting like rude bellends I don’t think so anymore.
If you’re wanting to buy broken furniture, bookcases with shelves missing and filthy, stained and threadbare sofas that are totally overpriced then this is the shop for you. If you want rude and unfriendly staff then get down here. Appalling charity shop.
I know I'm part of the staff but we have Loads of nice furniture and clothing and a brand new layout of the shop plenty of bargains
