Absolutely diabolical, extremely dangerous, filthy. Loose live wires sticking out of walls. Advanced fungus growing in the room. Broken door and rotten wood in room. We found a fridge full of years of mould and rotten food in a communal kitchen. Loose carpet on stairs, filthy halls, dangerous wiring in hallway. Owners don't care, just laugh at people and close the door on them. Extremely noisy outside. Smells rotten throughout. They are using half the property for their other business and trying to rent out rooms as a disgusting, dirty, illegal side hustle. Please avoid for safety and welfare.

Travelling solo and for the staff party on the seafront I felt tempted to pay very little for a nearby accommodation. I thought how bad can it be? Well, I was in for a treat.. I thought of starting this review with "Imagine roadkill.." but I'll keep it brief. Old, dingy, smelling, unkept, insecure, just never again. It was a great conversation topic at the party, but blimey this place should be closed

Good: - Location was close to the beach and the conference we were attending Bad: - Our Room was not ready at 16 nor at 22:30 when we arrived, we got put into another room which seemed to be in reparations - The room had no toilet paper, nor towels - The shower handle was broken and water was getting everywhere - On wednesday we can after lunch and a worker got into the room and mendle with the toilet... because we saw the tools on the floor with some soaked towel, but at that point the toilet stopped flushing, we got told that it would have fixed in an hour... when we left Thursday morning the toilet was not working still, so we had to leave during the night to the train station to go to the toilet. That is just unacceptable. - The radiator was on the floor broken (not that we had to use it but is was strange to see it) - There were plastics and garbage underneath the bed - The handle to open the door to the room was half de- attached - The door that leading to the street was broken so it remained open the entire time - The neighbour room was partying until 4 o'clock the night we arrived.

My boyfriend and I decided to book a night in this place as we were visiting friends. Well, when we went in to check in, the main door to the street was broken. This meant anybody could walk in and out of the place as they please? We were allocated a room that was already reserved. It was dirty with a mattress on the floor and a dim lamp over it. Seemed like a crack house! The corridors were dodgy and the fire alarm panel was giving off a constant beeping noise. There was ripped up carpet, random objects just laying around, dirty walls, the list goes on. There’s no reception and the self check in online is actually nowhere to be found. You can’t contact the phone number they provide on the website as the line drops, you can’t send emails, there is absolutely no way to contact them. Once the staff turned up, they acted surprised to see us although we spent Β£140 for just one night. It all seemed dodgy. The β€œmaintenance” man working bank holiday and sitting on the stairs not actually doing any work.. The other staff member told us our booking was cancelled although we had received no message, email or call to let us know. In a panic, he found a room for us and told us to come back later as he had to clear stuff out of it. We ended up not staying there as it all seemed way too weird, the vibes were off, it seemed super unsafe to sleep there.

Stayed here as a large group of friends, the place is under new management and therefore quite hectic at the moment, but the manager was so incredibly helpful and helped us so much with anything we needed, including extra duvets etc!! The place is old, however, so windows are a bit draughty but a heater was provided in the room and once we used that, it was very toasty!! Beautiful sea view from the room, could not recommend this enough if you’re a young group of friends with somewhere cheap needed to stay!!

The only thing that's worth in the room is the view.. most of the furniture is outdated and old, you can only shower with chilling cold or boiling hot water (can't adjust the heat), extremely noisy at night, as the bar restaurant downstairs works 24/7.. so only good if you are a student and want to party all night. Don't recommend it otherwise..

If you want to party, this is the place as you can't sleep as downstairs is a pub that never close down, I mean, never! 24/7 loud music, fight, police presense etc... You simply can't sleep which was a nightmare.

I would definitely book there again. Nice place, provides you what you asked for (a room) when you pay this cheap know you’re not getting a luxurious hotel. You pay what you asked for. Cleaning service is good I would give it 10/10 There’s no reception or someone to call only through email, however they answer very fast! The location is perfect in front the beach

Thought everything was going well but then somebody started to unlock my door, didn't even ask, said it was a fire alarm security test. They said "can you do in 30 minutes" I said no, I can do when I leave. The man claiming to be the owner said I would need to let them do the test in 30 mins time. Then I didn't hear from them but later on heard that it was no longer necessary. After this "fire alarm check" I had some level of fear for the remainder of my stay. This is the worst place you could possibly room at. I have lived in a squat, and it was leagues safer than this place. This place is ratty enough for somebody to make a spare key of your assigned room and then come surprise you in the night or watch for when you leave to come in and steal your things. That said, the room worked just fine for use.
