   We were very pleased with our stay at the Village House! When the heating in the room we had booked wasn’t working properly (old building, it happens) they quickly sent someone to look at the issue. We were graciously upgraded to the king room which was much appreciated and a lovely room! The decor in the rooms is beautifully done and cheery. We loved the green color and little butterfly details throughout. Everything in the room is clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of outlets and the bathroom has a modern sink and shower. Hospitality is fantastic. We would absolutely recommend the Village House to anyone staying in Findon!

   Wonderful location. We popped in for a quick drink before going to a BBQ. Garden was busy with a Caribbean day. Looked fun. Sarah the land lady was reasonably friendly, a bit abrupt, but I think she'd had a long day. Try it out. The menu looked good

   A real gem of a pub in the heart of Findon Village. Well worth a visit. The owner, Sarah is so kind and welcoming. Menu choices extensive and food always wonderful. Come on everyone; support your local pubs, or loose them!

   Had a very pleasant two night stay here. All the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good! The rooms are small and clean and just right for a short stay. The mattress could be more comfortable, but for two nights it was alright.

   First time at this village pub for Sunday lunch. Long wait for food after being seated. Various excuses offered. Some of the service was fairly unprofessional. Food was good but not exceptional. Parking is a nightmare!

   This Pub, Restaurant, and Inn has it all when it comes to staying in a quaint village and want get away from the hustle and bustle of London. The Pub is frequented by friendly locals, service is great, food is excellent, and the rooms are incredibly good considering this Coaching Inn dates back to 1527! The new proprietor is brilliant and will make this place even better by the time you make your plans to come here. And it does not hurt that she is very pleasing on the eyes. One more thing if you come to Findon you may get lucky and spot local celebrity, and Guinness Book of Records holder Mr. Moustache. He has more recently been featured as a Wizard in a "Harry Potter" film. He really is part of the Magical Realm of the Findon Valley!
