Good site rather small. Diversion due to low bridge was closed. Very difficult to find a way to Jewson
Great staff and great service at this jewson branch needed a estimating service and they can also design building plans amazed everything you need to build a house from start to finish.
Getting to the yard was a task in its self. I have a truck sat nav and it did not pick up the low bridge until I saw the flipping thing. So if you are going to jewson to deliver in an high sided HGV then please head for the A1113 towards lotus cars and the sat nav pick it up from there avoiding the said bridge. The way a company solves a problem speaks volumes, and this one went above and beyond. There was a communication issue between the office and dispatch on the first delivery attempt, but they were so polite. It was then rectified and the delivery guy kindly brought my order in to my back garden, which was a huge help. I couldn't thank him enough. Both guys were friendly and helpful. I would definitely use Jewson in Wymondham again.
Great place to go if you like been ignored by staff and want to know intricate details of their personal lives as you'll be sure to hear much about it before they have the idea to serve, or even acknowledge you. Many other merchants in and around wymondham I would advise using any of them above jewsons as the service has been the same for years.
Used a few times as local. Can get cheaper from other big retailers, but when the trip outweighs the saving, it's a go to shop. Staff have always been great, taking time to listen and help when not sure or various options present. Stock is sporadic, lots for the trade, but some diy level stiff not held In store, but always happy to order it in for me.
