There's a new cinema in town but we went to see the Nutcracker at Vue because the seats are definitely comfortable. However, we wish we hadn't. They didn't even bother showing the introduction and it looked like we were going to miss the ballet, so minutes before curtain up, we sent someone out to find a member of staff, they said "it's not time yet" - this is 12 minutes into a live performance on screen btw . As the intro finished and the curtain was about to go up, the show finally started, stopped, and restarted (then we saw the computer screen) but finally, we got to see the show with just the occasional loss of sound during the overture. We had to ask someone to turn the lights on during the 30 minute interval and they didn't bother turning them on at the end either, so we were helping people to evacuate by the light of our mobiles. It's £20 a ticket (and £6.49 for a Pepsi) the least they could do is give a damn. I've seen films down there, no problems - but if it's 'live on screen' go elsewhere - because Preston Vue is an absolute shambles.

Cinema ok. But got stuck on carpark fri 3rd oct due to Storm Amy when carpark was virtually empty. Cinema also virtually empty but got a £60 parking fine. I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT AGAIN. NOT ONLY THE CINEMA BUT THE SHOPS AS WELL. NOT GOOD ENOUGH IN BAD WEATHER AND COST OF LIVING. COULD UNDERSTAND IT IN GOOD WEAYHER BUT IN THE MIDST OF STORM AMY!!!!

Always travel here from Blackpool for the last 4years. Disappointed that Coke is no longer served. Plus the ice blast was barely frozen. This needs to be monitored before you keep selling them. As someone behind us got an even worse version. The recliners are great, but clearly getting tired now as they don’t always stay in the full reclined position over time so you have to keep adjusting. Plus they are abit sticky. Definitely need a good service and clean.

Decent chairs. Convenient parking. Picture not very sharp, looks out of focus, everytime I've been. The last screening, some teens were play fighting and appeared drunk. Some woman's phone kept ringing and when it did the flash on her phone blinked rapidly. Some younger kids with parents were shouting things at the screen trying to be funny. Not a nice experience.

Took my 2 granddaughters on Saturday lunchtime to watch a U rated film. Id tried booking tickets on line the day before, however the web page and phone lines were down. The cinema helpline could not give any indication of when the service would be running again, therefore my partner drove to the cinema to buy the tickets. The sales person actually sold us the tickets at the reduced online price due to the inconvenience ... which was very kind. Cinema staff were pleasant and helpful. The recliner seats were comfortable and spacious. All in all the experience was a good one, albeit somewhat pricey for a couple of hours out. It's worth considering the 10am films for children each Saturday, as this is a much cheaper option.

Great seats, very comfy! The only thing I don't like is the 'menu' board where you buy snacks/drinks etc. Because it keeps scrolling you can't actually see the prices or options clearly - this needs changing. A scrolling screen is cool - but not functional at all.

Clean, open planned, many workers behind the desks for quick queue times. The recliners were pretty good, but make sure when booking in a group of 2 you book smartly as the seats are connected in groups of 2 across the rows. 3d glasses were a bit cheap, for the cost of £2. Would recommend going, especially if you have a Vodafone or other deal.

normally I don’t have an issue with Vue but i went in today and I am over the age of 15, but the woman decided to tell me that I wasn’t. She was doing it in quite a rude way if I’m being honest, so I had to wait outside for somebody else to come in to give me a refund because I didn’t buy the tickets myself, but overall it’s a really good place. The chairs are comfy and it’s clean so that’s good but that one staff member has put me off ever coming back there. I would much rather go to real in Chorley they have better seats and overall nicer staff and it looks a lot better and it’s cheaper and for an extra £10 you can buy premium tickets and you can get ice cream midway through and they give you free drinks
