   Extremely impressed and happy with the service I received. Mark helped to book a solo China Southern flight to Japan via China and he was really knowledgeable and friendly. He regularly checked in with me before and during the trip as well as answering any questions I had mid trip. I would recommend Mark to anyone looking to book a Chinese airline. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

   Overall, I was very unhappy with the service I received from Flight Centre an Ryan McDonald. The second I paid the money, I seemed to no longer be important. Having to chase up regarding my own bags was my first frustration. This was poorly explained by you when booking and I see no value in using a travel agent to book this. Had I booked myself, I would have got cheaper flights, been able to have a flexi flight including 2 bags when purchasing and saved considerable flight costs. Instead, on your recommendation, I paid the airport rate which was over double the cost of pre-booking. The Air New Zealand team said this was poor advice. When I arrived in China, I had purchased the lounge passes which you had sent me through as a recommendation. This was more expensive than just booking at the lounge. I then was not able to open my PDF file as gmail does not work in China. I knew some apps didn't work there and had actually screenshot the lounge access but I'd missed the QR code off and had to actually purchase access again, costing me another 90 quid. I feel like as a travel professional, these sorts of tips would be useful and considered a value-add making your service worthwhile. When I did come to you for help with the bags, your attitude was very defensive and I felt you were aggressive towards me, making me not feel comfortable contacting you for further issues. Overall, I would highly recommend booking yourself rather than using your services. This related to a booking in October 2024 and I sent this email directly to Ryan and asked for his feedback and comments before leaving a review, I never heard from him. Always like to give people a chance to respond, Ryan chose not to!
