First time we’ve been to pettits this year- surprised or quiet it was for a Sunday. Weather was nice and everything was open. I honestly think this is the best place for young kids, the farm is great, lots and lots of rides- including the jumping kangaroos, small rollercoaster and flying elephants. Our child was still a bit young for some of the other great things they have down there- such as remote control diggers and boats. She loved feeing the goats and sheeps. My only problem is the price, it was way over £40 for me and my daughter. Yes-you do get additional visits for half price after that but not living close by that’s probably not going to happen. An indoor soft play area would be good too. All in all a family favourite of ours when we’re in the area! Definitely good for a half day.

The kids will love it, you probably won't Tickets are very expensive, yeah they cover all the rides, but then there's countless extra bits all over the park that need coins, and the only coin machine I saw was locked into a £20 card tap. I don't really understand how they can justify £20+ for adults and children over 2, each. Even though they offer half price off for future visits, I doubt you'll want to return anytime soon. The rides are great for the kids, they'll enjoy the smaller coasters and train. You'll wonder why it's in the style it is, and why there are some questionably creepy looking characters. The animals seem cared for, as much as you'd expect for a park like this, they definitely seem eager to eat from your hand. There's a vast variety of animals to see, including birds, reptiles, wallabies, horses and goats. The food options are very bad, absolutely no vegan options, which is a bit ridiculous in 2025. If you haven't already decided not to go after reading this, pack a lunch. The saving grace for this place is the staff, they're extremely kind and good at their jobs, they were genuinely pleasant to speak with. Unfortunately management decides that they have one member of staff manning multiple rides, meaning people will have to wait until one is finished, and then wait for a staff member to come and set the ride up. One of the rides has questionable american-indian paraphernalia, including a severed head on a skull. Won't be coming back, but at least my daughter had a great time.

Good day out for a small family with a 2-5 year old/s. We went during school time and the park was practically empty. Absolutely no queue times for any thing we went on (apart from a 5 minute wait for the train as it went round the circuit. There are plenty of different rides, and lots of animals to see. You can choose to feed the goats/sheep/ pigs but at a small cost. I’d recommend bringing a few pound coins for the attractions dotted around needing a £ to work. We didn’t buy food as we bought our own picnic but did buy coffee (which was costa!) and an icecream which was so yummy! There are a few small play areas dotted around too as well as a large pirate themed area which was quite impressive. Tickets seem quite pricey for what they are, but understand they have a lot of animals to maintain, rides to maintain. It’s apparently a bit cheaper if you pre-book online, but the website said it was facing some technical difficulties. It is a lot cheaper than what you’d pay to go to Legoland or any other big name theme parks however. It’s a great day out for littles, and my 3 year old enjoyed every ride he went on, including a rollercoaster! Fab place, well kept, tidy and staff are really polite.

Worth the visit and we'll worth the money. We arrived first thing on a Sunday and pretty much had the place to ourselves until lunchtime when people started trickling in. Our 2 year old managed to go on every ride except for 1. It's a great walk around with plenty of area to sit and chill and even have a picnic area. The outdoor play was a bit extreme for our 2 year old but they have a great indoor play for smaller children. Donuts and ice cream were smashing and fairly priced. We will definitely be visiting again with our half price entry voucher we received on the day for another great day.

All in all we had a lovely day out. Our kids are 3 and 1 years of age. We were there for a little over 4 hours but could have stayed longer as there was still lots to do. The place was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The rides were clean and in good working order, and it was great that you could buy a picture from the two roller coaster rides. The animals all look well cared for, and there are several places by the petting farm that you can get more feed, although one goat did try to eat my t shirt. They could do with another block of loos, and maybe another food option as the cafe is right by the entrance. Next time I think we would take a picnic lunch.

Fantastic day out for the whole family. We enjoyed the rides, crazy golf, the animals and shows. The mini train was a hit wit the adults and the children. The Crazy Caterpillar rollercoaster and the flying Dumbos were our favourites. The park is very clean and buggy friendly. The staff were helpful. We would definitely recommend going and will be back soon.

Personally I do think it is a little over priced however all the children youngest being 1 oldest being 11 still had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves..... The rides were great and probably the kids favourite part. The golf was actually really fun and enjoyable, it's also included in the admission price. There is a very small soft play area which come in handy as we had a short down pour of rain. The toilets were ok and clean other than the baby changing station which was just a changing mat on the side next to the sink so was very wet! I would advise bringing your own lunch as the cafe here is ridiculous for prices! Not to mention the food wasn't even that nice especially for the prices you pay.

It's amazing how much this place has improved. It is so much cleaner, has proper paths, new rides and seating areas. As a family we really enjoyed our day here. My 21 month old, 5 year old and 10 year old enjoyed all the rides, play area and animals. There are still a few areas that need a little attention but we will definitely be returning for another fun filled day soon.
