Good place to shop for secondhand items. Watch out for the sales to bag a bargain.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly when I dropped off a couple of items of furniture today. Happy that the items can go to a new home

We have been taking items to this shop from a house clearance ( parents in law) And will also be organising a furniture collection from the house. The staff are always upbeat, cheerful and lovely to us and other shoppers/ donators . Just want to say they are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to chat to.

We were helped by a lovely woman called Sue today in buying a sofa. She was really friendly and helpful, and we really appreciate the extra effort she put in for us! :) Thanks again Sue!

We as a family have always donated furniture cloths and shoes etc to this branch of bedford Ampthill Rd.and we have gift aid and in many years gone by you as a charity have done nicely thank you very much from that. The last two visits going to this branch I've been received by a member of you staff with not a very good approach to taking very good bags of clothing etc. My frist was told we are not taking anymore today and was told to go to another charity. On my second visit which was today 5th November at 4.30 and there was no bags boxes etc lined up to be told its to late to take one bag of cloths I find this beggers believe to be told by the same member of your staff once again refused to take the one bag. And I told this member of staff this is the second time I've come here and you refused to recive goods. I've been to the sue ryder in bedford Town centre and the staff have always be very helpful and happy smily faces what ever the time of day it is.they even came to my car when I've had lots of bags to give to yourselves. And they even gave me our gift aid labels to put on the stuff because we have Donated many time.

Quite a big charity shop, with the usual variety of secondhand products however they stock lots of furniture and electricals too. The furniture is cheap and cheerful which is great for someone starting out in their first home. Especially as they offer a delivery service too! All of the staff including the delivery drivers are polite and extremely helpful.

Overpriced. Rude staff. Everything is to much to ask. Constant harassment towards closing time. Bad overall atmosphere. Terrible attitude and frankly lazy approach. Have an honest word with yourselves.

Well the roof did not leak. So there is a faint chance that they may well be able to sell some stock that is not water logged. And based on that they should be able to do quite well. After all it is all for a good cause.

Today is the first time I've been in there and the staff have been present and helpful. I've had to wait at the till while staff have stood there, ignoring me, gossiping about another member of staff and being rude. When you do get to the till it's usually bare minimum communication. Today they actually helped with a tape measure and delivery query. Very nice. It may have changed my mind about coming in here more regularly. It is overpriced mind you. I know it's a charity and appreciate that but, people shop in charity shops because they like a bargain, a thrifty and perhaps don't have alot of money themselves, and yet the prices don't reflect this. It's my least favourite charity shop to visit but at least the staff were friendly today. If you have a buggy, forget about it.

Overpriced - considering they get the stock for free. They might actually make some money for the charity and shift some stock if they were a bit more realistic with their prices. Saw a sofa in there for £300 - who are they kidding?
