   Hadn’t shopped at Next for over a decade. As I was at the Boots store next door went in to look for jeans. Not really my kind of store (I felt very old) but found what I wanted and paid. All good. Went back 3 days later to get a second pair but couldn’t find any. Asked an assistant and showed her a photo I’d taken of the label to be told she wasn’t at work 3 days ago so didn’t know. When I tried to explain all I wanted to know is where the jeans where I was told “they must have moved them”. I asked where to, to be told, again, she wasn’t at work 3 days ago and didn’t know. That was it and she walked away. Went to M&S on the same retail park and got what I wanted.

   Changed their Sunday hours to 10.30. Myself and many others turned up at 10. It’s inconvenient when all the other shops open at 10 and you just want to collect an order.

   Was looking for a nice top for a work conference. Loads of exactly what I was looking for listed on their website. None of it held in store. No mark on the listings to say they're online only. The woman behind the counter was belligerent and rude saying they'd got stock hidden upstairs. Still turns out they don't hold any of the nice clothing in store.

   Went into Next today,shopped,then Costa. Lost my car keys,looked in Costa,then went to Till and met WILL who works here. He found my keys in the changing room and kept them safe. 'WILL'went the xtra mile for me as a customer. Please pass on my sincere thanks to WILL.

   I lost my job here for being unwell too much, I had constant head pain the whole time working there until my last month, I was also in trouble for not going to a shift on one of my none contracted days without being asked if I was available I loved working there used to take my mind if things and there are some really friendly staff there.

   Poor customer service I went to pick few of my orders and all I get shaming in the middle of the store. The manager kept shouting this lady has too many items to pick up. Not my fault that next pack each item separately and then she kept leaving the packages on the floor for me to pick up and I had a back surgery recently. Awful service.

   I finished work early today. I needed, kind of urgently, to get myself a decent suit as our congregation starts meetings at the Kingdom Hall in person again! Fantastic news! (We have been meeting on Zoom for perhaps 18 months now.) Anyway, I tried M&S first. But I'm an unusual fitting. 28" waist, long leg. And 42" jacket, regular. Had to buy shoes. Shirt and tie too. (And socks!) They had no trousers to fit that corresponded with the jacket I required. The following shop was not far away. I forget its name. H&S? Nothing there! So onto River Island! That's NOT an older man's shop, for goodness sake! Everything is slim and appears that it would hug the body too much! Wonderful clothes colours and presentation. A 14yrs to mid 30's shop I'd guess? I'd almost given up! Resigned that I'd have to drive the 8mins home without success! Then!!!! NEXT came next! (Oh I'd been to Materland too. Check spelling?) I climbed the stairs laboriously following the "Men" sign and arrow! Kneeling down was this young man. I cottoned on he was staff. Exasperated I called for his help. In five minutes he had guided me efficiently and respectfully. His suggestions were contrary to the thoughts I had. Nevertheless, I took his advice on shoe colour, belt, shirt and tie. I have no regrets. Infact, his guidance turned out to be a lot better than what I'd have chosen. It's this type of customer focus that immediately made me decide to make the purchase. £250 well spent on what I believe to be quality and fashion. I got the right sizes, design and colouring at time of purchase. Helpful staff on both floors. It's great to see young people serving us oldies with such kindness and respect!
