I stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks and spent most nights in the bar which had a brilliant atmosphere, the shows were really good and the bar staff and owner were so welcoming and friendly, I left feeling as I had made some new friends

Great bar with great views, not too expensive either. Great drag show there, Mrs Moore was superb! And George at the bar was friendly

I feel bad but yet I feel this is fair. I had a mixed experience on pride weekend. On Friday night been to this place, they had some drag cabaret shows, great vibe, nice friendly crowd. One of the bar staff was so nice they went to get me a straw from the stock as they ran out at the bar while they could have said they ran out. We enjoyed the music in the lovely decor. The place serves real queer vibe not commercial trend. Their decor have catchy quotes, drawings, and frames marking queer art and history. On the other hand, on pride Sunday, i went they had same vibe and welcoming crowd.bought a drink asked for a straw which I could see hidden behind the ordering screen but the bar staff said they have none. That was fine and I did not want to judge the place based on this one bad experience.I left to meet friends and then came back at around 10 pm to rejoin and dance on some pop an disco music but the security was standing on the gate and keeping it closed. I wasnt the only there was also another person queuing. 3 prople went out but the security still won't let us in saying it is overcapacity. The place looked that it could use some extra customers. That was okey until some people started coming and the security would let them in while we are still waiting for their mercy.it was complete Bullock especially on pride weekend. The security should relax a bit and be more friendly and welcoming as we was rude and aggressive. He left us waiting and he had an argument with the other person waiting and was saying he aint letting them in. He was so arrogant and disrespectful and unfair. I hope the place takes this review seriously and revisit their security and door policies and a pinch of niceness to their staff.

Amazing little find. Wandered in for a quick drink and stayed for the evenings fun! Good selection of drinks, attentive staff and excellent variety of acts to offer!! The only downside is not discovering sooner on my holiday. Definitely be returning next time.

Having been to Centre stage multiple times, I have always had such a warm welcome by the staff, I’ve always had a stellar night and to date i have never received anything less than 10/10 service. The music, the drag, the cabaret, the live singers and now the panto have always been second to none. Topping this off with impeccable service from the lovely lads is just why this is a venue at the top of my list for bars to visit in Brighton. If you’re looking for a great night, start here!
