   The mumbles is very limited when it comes to dog friendly establishments so we were grateful for this hotel. Yes it is dated but the bed was comfortable enough and bathroom was clean. Staff are lovely and the room was refreshed each day. You can’t beat the location and we were given a sea view room without booking one and also early check in as it was ready. Free parking is available if you find a spot on the side of the road the hotel is on.

   I have recently arranged an event and held a reception at the Carlton Hotel in Mumbles. What a great place. Fabulous location and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We had a light lunch of lovely fresh sandwiches, tasty homemade sausage rolls, moreish coronation chicken bites with cakes and scones, it was delicious. Thank you to Julie and the rest of the Carlton staff for a lovely day.

   Lovely place. Clean, sea view, wish we'd bought a fan so we could have windows closed as bit noisy at night. Julie lovely..... Sheree in bar lovely too. Good base for what we wanted and needed.

   What can you say we got there end up paying £6 for all day parking then had to pay extra £4 for a few hours next day for parking that's mumbles council for you our room was ok apart from the floor had badly dropped in the middle of the room felt like you was falling over , shower door dropped so we couldn't shower in the morning for £110 a night not even getting breakfast we had to get battery's for the TV remote as they didn't work , the guy in the bar was most helpful he was great.

   Wow. What a gem. Great rooms, great bar, lovely atmosphere, superb service. Dog friendly aswell. First time we took our greyhound away, so we were a little apprehensive, happily there was no need. We and the dog were well looked after.....and it was New Year's Eve!!! Will definitely book again! Thank you so much.

   Popped in for a drink after lunch out in mumbles. Very friendly owner. Nice little pub and I'm sure the hotel is just as nice. Right on mumbles sea front.

   We stopped here with a group of 15 friends. Our room were clean and had all that we needed. We would stop here again. Plenty of places to eat around this hotel. Car parking immediately opposite the hotel charges 0800 to 2100 hrs everyday. Long stay car parks are the same charges. Have a great holiday.

   I could find fault with the Hotel but to be honest that would be mean. i can find fault in 5 star hotels, however, if you select this hotel for the location, the friendly staff, very competitive prices in the bar and because you do not want to stay in an identical room to the tens of thousands offered by the well known chains you should have a good time. This hotel in my opinion if you are here for a few days perhaps on a golf trip, walking weekend, stag or hen party I am sure you would have a good time. If free hotel WIFI and a space to work in your room is a critical ingredient to your trip - it might not be for you.
