Shout out to Sam H who did our daughter's first shoe fitting for us - he was SO enthusiastic and keen to help, as well as coming across as completely authentic and genuinely interested in getting the best shoes for her. He was absolutely lovely - thank you Sam!
We visited Clarks on 10/11 with the main purpose of having our youngest daughter's first foot measuring. We were served by Sam and I cannot praise him highly enough, he was fantastic with us and the kids. He was exceptional. It was my daughter’s first shoe fitting and he treated it like such a special event! He was professional and not pushy at all. Knowledgable and friendly and we will definitely be returning to him. A note though to his colleague who was dressed in a pastel tye dye type jumpsuit, the fact that you felt it appropriate to reprimand Sam in front of us and several other customers may have made you feel good but you embarrassed Sam and everyone else who was present and it just made you look like a very unkind colleague. Please don’t ruin your store’s customer service when others are trying so hard to make it a good experience. In a world where it seems increasingly hard to find good customer service, Sam stood out, he genuinely seemed to care about what he was doing. Clarks, he is a credit to your brand and the Shrewsbury store.
We visited the store a couple of weeks ago to buy our little boys first pair of shoes. We were served by Sam - what a lovely person! He was very helpful, great with our little one and I’m sure will make a great teacher in future!
Not much selection of shoes for babies with soft flexible soles. Store was super busy for a sunday afternoon and there was only 1 lady serving and helping customers. She tried her beat but ultimately was in a rush and unable to give full attention and care to customers. We left without purchasing as we felt rushed to make a decision as she needed to get to other customers. Please have it least 3/4 staff members working a sunday afternoon.
Visited today, served by Sarah. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Came away with 2 pairs and she ordered a 3rd to be posted to my home address. Great service.

Massive thanks to the lovely female manager and male assistant who were so helpful to us on a recent Thursday afternoon visit, just long enough ago that this busy mum has almost forgotten names but reading other reviews think it may have been Zoey & Alex! My son's brand new school shoes were rubbing after the first day's wear and I was a little nervous to request an exchange knowing he'd worn them, however the team couldn't have been more helpful as they had been purchased during an official Clarks fitting. Both team members spent considerable time with us trying on several pairs of shoes and size options to get the right fit for his high in-step and he left very happy with a pair that flash no less! Very comfortable a week or so later! Thank you!
i went into Clarks May 2022 to get my youngest who's 1.5years a new pair of shoes. We were served by Steph who was super friendly and attentive. she brought a range of shoes down rather than us picking out one or two which really worked well as she found us a super cute pair that had dinosaurs one which Jacob seemed to love and we loved! Because it had gone so well we also decided to get our eldest boy whos 4 measured up for sandals for holiday and with the same method we also discovered some lovely sandals. we are extremely happy with boy items. Steph was particularly helpful at convincing my eldest to take his sandals off and put them back in the box when he was reluctant at the end which really helped keep it all calm! :) we will be back shortly for his school shoes thanks!
