   Amazing service from Kristen on Sunday- Kristen clearly has serious expertise on benefits and qualities of different boots. I was impressed at multitasking of handling about 5 customers at a time seamlessly. Simon today was great, his knowledge around different options for what I was looking for was excellent and nothing was too much to ask. I cannot thank either of them enough for their help as I hate shopping with a passion and they made the experience more than tolerable but enjoyable. Give them both a bonus!

   Came here to buy some ON walking boots. Only two people in the entire store. Three staff. Two upstairs. They finished with one customer, so on my own. I waited 5 minutes and no one came out of the store room. Hmmm. Not great service…. It’s a shame as the shop seems to have a good selection and very spacious.

   Children do not get DofE discount on sale items, 2 Staff in my case not aware,website cannot change from shop pickup to home delivery, in my experience, obviously £136. For hoka gtx mid boots has no leeway in price, parents, children be aware, the duke is not happy with this shop... customer hotline, inflexible.. re discount, not my best shopping experience...

   Just bought some climbing shoes here–Vicky was wonderfully helpful. She was lovely over the phone and in store she scanned my feet and was incredibly willing to help me try on many many different shoes in all different sizes. Thank you! I'm keen to try out my new shoes!

   The best place to get fitted for new footwear. Not necessarily the cheapest but reliably I get the best result from going here. They really take their time finding the right shoe/ boot and talking through what's good or no so good about each for your particular needs. Came out not exactly walking on a cloud but very happy

   A male member of staff on the counter was extremely unpleasant and rude to my grandmother yesterday, purely because she had asked for a place to sit down as her partner shopped. I'm never going in there again in my life. I am outraged by the foul behaviour of staff at this business. What an utterly disgusting way to treat customers.

   I went to Cotswold in Brighton with my husband today as we both wanted walking shoes and actually purchased a pair each. The person who looked after us and I mean looked after us is called Kate. We had such brilliant service , she spent so much time with us. That's why I always go to Cotswold's, couldn't do better.

   I really like Cotswold's. They are the John Lewis of the outdoor world such as being very supportive of any product issues under guarantee which if you register for their loyalty card makes the process so easy. The product range is well curated and in this store the layout and product range compliment each other very well.

   Cotswold outdoor does have pretty good quality gear and I found the perfect mid-layer, but not in my size. However, I was able to order on-line. Sometimes it's nice to have more stock on offer as texture is important, but the high street has certainly changed since covid/brexit...
