“Bought a wetsuit , boots and a new leash - it’s been a while and wetsuit technology has moved on ; Not to fear, a really helpful & enthusiastic young man was on hand to talk me through the array of advancements, understood my needs and hooked me up with kit that’s spot on - his obvious experience shining through. Once home with my purchases, sadly not everything was smelling of roses , however that’s when a retailer really shows its metal - a brief website ‘chat’ and the issue was sorted , no quibbles - that’s a shop you’ll want to do business with again - and again - and again - Great service isn’t difficult , sadly many don’t manage it - Boardriders do - give them a go”

“Picking up tennis again for the first time in 25 years. Popped in for some racket advice and was blown away by how exceptionally helpful everyone was. Super knowledgeable staff who obviously really care about the sports they cater to and want you to get the product that's right for you - the racket trial service is an exceptionally sensible option they offer. “My children had SUCH a good time at hove lagoon doing the kids activity week and introduction to sailing courses. For the younger ones the intro to sailing is a great way to get them on the water, and my older child has done that for the last 2 years before moving on to the full activity week this year. It’s such a fun and action packed week giving them a chance to try out a whole range of activities including SUP, windsurfing, wakeboarding, sailing and kayaking as well as fun games and activities like raft building, donut rides on the zip line and treasure hunts. The team are amazing at keeping the children engaged and happy, even when the weather is less than ideal! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something fun for the kids in the summer holidays.”

I had a Christmas gift that I had to exchange as the size was too small but unfortunately, I was outside of the 28 days returns policy (I’ve been away for a few weeks) but the chap in-store allowed me to swap the item for one of my size. Being a tight arse I didn't want to pay postage twice so called them on the phone, I spoke with Alex who was more than helpful and even added the bits I'd forgotten free of charge. “I went into Runners Need yesterday to have a gait analysis and to buy some new running trainers. Sofia did my gait analysis and helped me find the best trainers for me. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all and she had so much invaluable knowledge. I will definitely be recommending this service/ shop to anyone looking to get themselves some new running trainers or get their gait analysed.
