I’ve been a long term tenant with Keys now and have recently moved to a different rental property with them, Kelli and Mandy have shown nothing but professionalism from start to finish and have been so helpful and kind. Always there if any problems occur which are dealt with promptly. I can’t recommend Keys property management enough! Thank you ladies, keep up the great work.

If I could give Keys Property Management zero stars I would. I have never met a company so incompetent. My family were left in a property that was in such a state, environmental health came out twice with ourselves and once with a previous tenant (which I didn't know at the time). I have over 100 photos of the state of the property, I don't even know where to begin. By the time we left, the water that was pouring through the electrics hadn't been fixed after having reported it over 2 months previous. Every day for 2 weeks I phoned keys property management to discuss the property and the state we were living in to which I was told every single day that they would get back to me the same day, to which they never did. I was sent a document to sign stating it was just "confirming the conditions of the property for our benefit" which I signed and realised it was a document stating we had recieved all the relevant documentation by keys property when we got the keys to the house... this was not the case and we had not been sent the gas safety reports or the electrical reports till the October of 2024 when we had got the keys in February 2024. Our electric would constantly trip which was stated in the electrical report. My children's bookcase, beds, wardrobes, toys and baby swing was covered in mould, our dishes were covered in mould. Our laundry room had Mushrooms growing in from the damp. Precious memories were ruined of my children's belongings from the damp that property has. The ceiling and walls in the hallway were coming through and caving in, as there was significant damp that the landlord had wallpapered over to conceal when this was taken off, it was practically falling off the wall, it uncovered the significant structural issues with the hallway. The landlord had to be removed from the property for intimidation, lying, waking my disabled son up by trying to bodge some of the more minor jobs pointed out by environmental health. The landlord would send unqualified right hand men to our property with 4 children in, unannounced and keys property were aware of this and did no such thing to protect us as the tenants. There are multiple investigations ongoing with both the landlord and keys property management. I have a huge amount of evidence. AVOID COMPLETELY. The 3.2 star reviews speak for themselves.
Surprised they have as much as a 3.2. 1, Don't answer the phone or reply to messages or emails (time scale over 3 months trying to enquire about different properties) 2, When you've phoned 20 times and you do get an answer they'll say they'll call you back and never do. 3, Assume to know what you can and can't afford. 4, Unprofessional and rude 5, Will probably say they've never delt with me when they reply to this review. Don't use this company to rent your homes or rent a home. I wouldn't use them even of I was homeless. What a negative frustrating time it's been.
I cannot praise Kelli and the team at Keys property management enough. Kelli helped us to find our new home always on hand to answer any questions or concerns we had. she really went above and beyond, even meeting us outside of normal office hours. The process from start to finish was faultless. We found Kelli and Mandy to be very down to earth yet extremely professional, always returning calls when promised, we were always given open and honest timescales. We have been so impressed with the service we have received, we have recommended keys to colleagues of ours. Thanks to the team at Keys we have found our new beautiful home.
I have nothing bad to say about this letting agency . They have been nothing but helpful to myself over the years whilst dealing with my land lord selling the current property that I lived in. Keys actually contacted myself as they knew I was loosing my home and they couldn't of helped me any more so the bad reviews by people who aint happy they aint had their own way i wouldnt personally listen to .. try contacting keys your self .
As a landlord I let all my properties through keys. I’m extremely happy with their vetting process, financial checks and references they obtain before allowing anyone to rent one of my properties. As a small family run business I’ve always found them to be more than helpful and to go the extra mile when required. With regards to comments in a previous review regarding deposits. As far as I’m aware any disputes are referred to an independent adjudicator for a final decision.
After applying for a property, submitting proof of affordability etc. I was assured on the phone that they didn’t foresee a problem. After waiting and no communication on their side, I contacted them to be promised a call back at the end of day on a number of occasions. When they finally did decide to contact me, it via email to inform me I’d been unsuccessful. My daughter went into keys to ask why we had been unsuccessful and was told that the Vouch app they use, makes the decision and that she should ring them. My daughter did and was told that vouch is just a company they use to gather information but ultimately the decision is down to the letting agent. The fact that an agent who believes she has the skill set to be a confident decision maker with regards to letting other peoples property, finds it’s quite easy to attempt to pass the buck of an unsuccessful application onto a online platform they use rather than be upfront, honest and professional. When my daughter went back to the office to speak with them and didn’t have an explanation of why this agent felt the need to blatantly lie. I have since been told by a by a number of people that keys are unprofessional, lack communication skills, slow and not forthcoming when returning deposits. If you have a property with keys that doesn’t seem to be getting let, guarantee it’s because the agent uses personal issues with potential tenants to prevent them letting your property, with you losing out on rental income, with the housing crisis there are families screaming out for properties. This has to be the most unprofessional agent I’ve ever been unlucky enough to encounter and I would highly advise anyone who looking to rent a property DO NOT USE KEYS.
