Today my daughter and I purchased avocado on toast with salmon and scrambled egg on toast with salmon. The cost was £8 each (which seems somewhat excessive). The scrambled egg was significantly overcooked, turning it into a crumbling dry mass, so I asked for another portion of butter so that we could at least add some moisture to it. On requesting it I was charged 15p. When I said that I was just wanting another to go with my rather dry scrambled egg, I was informed that I had already been given the x2 portions allocated. Having spoken to the manager it appears it is company policy and that they're unable to use their own descretion in such matters. Good grief Waitrose. You are part
