Went yesterday for the first time and wanted to enjoy it but was very disappointed. Had a vege breakfast and the sausages were rock solid (pre-cooked) and reheated. Courgette was very oily and not pleasant and the beans were dried out in their bowl. It said it came with toast and they put 1 x half a slice of burnt toast which I asked to be redone and then they brought 1 slice of toast back. My other half had a sausage bap which he said was greasy. Really wanted somewhere local to visit again but this won't be it. Shame as the other reviews seem okay and it wasn't that busy when we went.

A cafe with an amazing view & fabulous non expensive offerings.

Following order placement, we encountered a delay exceeding one hour. Upon inquiry, we learned our order had been inadvertently overlooked. In response, the establishment offered complimentary beverages and waived the charges for our initial drinks. The food quality was satisfactory. However, this was a somewhat disappointing experience for my first visit.

After recommendations for a cars&coffee type vibe myself and a friend could go to for an early morning coffee with our cars ;) we opted for this place. Lovely views and good food, we sat outside, put the world to rights while taking in the countryside. I will definitely return here, perhaps with more of us. Great parking right outside. food was top draw as was the host.

Had THE BEST English breakfast here. Crispy hash browns, the most delicious scrambled egg and sausages. Everything was perfect. All served piping hot. The cakes looked fab too Will definitely be back. Oh…..and what a view!

Having been to all the other GG establishments we decided to give the Buttery a try with some friends today. Food nice and reasonably priced but service fell short sadly. Waited 40 minutes for order to be taken, part of one meal arrived about 5 minutes before the others and coffee returned as cold. A complimentary drink was offered which was appreciated but overall it was a disappointing experience.

Enjoyed a lovely tasty breakfast at The Buttery this morning. Very welcoming, great selection of food and drinks, cosy atmosphere with beautiful views across the fields, and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed food so much, took take-out cake home for later.
