What a great little cafe. Great selection of food all fresh and tasty. The cafe staff keep everything clean and tidy. Been a quite a few times and always see things being cleaned and food hygine I saw was 5 stars. The staff especially the owners are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend
Lovely friendly welcoming by the team at the cafe, I’m a little fussy so was very impressed with the adaptation of the ingredients to suit my taste. Beautifully presented and well worth another visit and thank you for my coffee also adapted for my taste. Thank you again ☺️☺️
I visited The Cable Café in the summer and, unfortunately, was not impressed. The food fell below expectations — the burger I had seemed under-seasoned and lacked freshness, and the side of chips arrived lukewarm and soggy. On top of that, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff felt disengaged and gave off the impression they’d rather be elsewhere than helping customers. Given the beautiful setting at Box End Park, I’d hoped for more – it’s a shame the experience didn’t match the location.
A lovely little café that truly stands out! The friendly team goes above and beyond to make sure every visit is enjoyable, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The highlight for me was their great homemade sausage rolls—absolutely delicious! Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely coffee, this café is a delightful spot to unwind. Highly recommended!
Awful waiting time
Best breakfast roll in the world. Don’t hold back - go egg,bacon, sausage,hash brown. You need to swim an extra couple of laps to justify it but worth the effort.
Best peri chicken wrap in the whole of bedford! Great to stay fuelled on a big day at box end. Cafe team deliver extraordinary service, always.
