   Friendly staff and the best fish finger sandwich I've had for a long time. Best of all, this gem of a café serves a fine chai latte, which you won't find on every menu. This cafe was fairly busy, yet we were seated promptly and served without delay. The staff were attentive and the view over the marina was a lovely bonus. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you.

   Visited during the summer. Outside seating area alongside canal & open tented area on grass. Arrive at 11am for brunch with friends. Very busy cafe, paking & tables. Obviously the word is out! Great breakfast & brunch menu with freshly made & fabulous quiche, cake & rolls & salads. Popular with dog walkers & families. Space limited during winter months inside but always busy & good food & value. Highly recommend.

   Wonderful place for lunch with a good selection of things to pick from along with tempting array of cakes. Given it was a decent day we chose to sit outside with relaxing views across the marina. You order at the counter then the food/drink is brought to you,the staff were really efficient/friendly and really nice working well together providing a really good experience. Will be returning soon .

   The boathouse is especially warming on a winter's day. Views of the marina along two walls, open plan and the illusion of an outdoor space, indoors. Staff are lovely, food is good quality and well presented. Plenty of choice for differing dietary needs...and cosy blankets if you want to be extra warm. Good coffee too!

   Great find that is actually close to where we live. Amazing views over the marina and the outdoor terrace makes for the perfect alfresco experience. The staff are really friendly and attentive, the food is very tasty and well priced and the place has a great ambience. A really positive find.

   Fantastic friendly cafe with great food by the marina. As you drive along the road things don't look promising but it's a lovely location, especially on a sunny day when it's often busy, but there is plenty of outside seating. Amazing cakes if you have room.
