Great for a treat. Nice selection of food, drinks and cakes. Tasty too. The only down side is you Couldn't really take the whole family there at the same time otherwise you may have to remortgage. You have to watch out for the "eat in" prices too. Nearly £1 extra per item to eat your food there which soon adds up if you have an average sized family.

We went out of our way to visit the workhouse and it was worth it. A beautiful building from the outside with interior just as lovely. Good coffee, amazing food and the sweet treats we took home with us were 10/10 too. Super quick and polite service despite it being really busy. It’s a shame you can’t book a table as we almost weren’t able to grab one and some parasols or awning to cover the tables outside would be good for rainy days.

We discovered The Workhouse about 12 months ago when searching for dog friendly places to have a bite in and around Northampton (properly dog friendly - somewhere that doesn’t chuck you in a different area or allow them on the furniture) and this place is a gem. It’s always packed which is testament to the amazing food, staff and atmosphere. The staff are always accommodating, happy and friendly which massively contributes to the lovely atmosphere’s here. You can tell they are an excellent team and work well together. The food is insanely good, it’s on another level! Their menu is small but they do everything to perfection. The cake counter is always full of amazing treats making it hard to choose what to take home. This place deserves more than 5 stars! Tip: Get there for opening time!

Very decent cup of coffee served here, sumptuous cake selection. If you have a sweet tooth it must be a must. Friendly staff, good seating available. Next time I'll try the food.

Really lovely place and amazing tasting hot food and lots of impressive sweet food options. Visit this place a lot and love it. I do have to say though speed of drinks is quite slow (drinks only) and every time my drink is luke warm, even if I order extra hot - I just want one hot drink and I’d say this place is perfect! Well done guys

Absolutely fantastic. Great food and drinks. I had the marmite and cheese sour bread toast which was so nice. My sister had the chicken and avocado sandwich and that was tasty too. Can also recommend the smoothies and ice tea. We bought some cakes to take away too. They were delicious. Very rich and indulgent. We will definitely be going again.
