This was my 5th SFC and as always, it was fabulous. Ogmore and St Donats have been my fave venues and Iβve got to experience so many good vendors like Dough Thrower, Taste of Punjab, Fire & Flank, Chantico, Bone Cartel, 2 Lads Afghan Kitchen, El Cabron, Drizzle and such! Highly recommended for a fun few hours, tonnes of vendors and out of this world street food. @thefemalephysicist on Instagram

Excellent day out. I say day, in reality it was four hours but thatβs fine. The choice of food was fantastic. And the foods we had (the four of us shared lots) was exceptional tasting. There was a juggling school for kids and acrobats. All staff were very pleasant. The only reason this wasnβt a 5* was there could have been stalls sting crafts or food stuffs. Notwithstanding that - highly recommended for adults and kids (& dogs) alike.

We really enjoyed the forest feastival, the atmosphere was perfect, situated a rough five minutes walk from Candleston car park which has beautiful scenery all round really added to the atmosphere of the evening. It was busy, but not so busy where you couldnβt find a comfortable place to sit and eat your food or grab a drink and relax. I did find the food quality to be a bit of a hit or miss, I would definitely recommend Mr Noodles as it was absolutely stunning. We had waffles and bread & butter pudding from Pwdin which unfortunately was a bit of a let down, especially for the price. The cocktails were also very limited and not that great but the cider and ale was lovely. The campfire was lovely and we really enjoyed sitting around there as the evening began to get colder. I would definitely go again as the entry tickets were cheap and most of the food was delicious.

Dreadful overpriced nonsense. I'll never go to one of their events again. Pay Β£7 per person for the privilege of choosing from a handful of overpriced food stalls (although what we chose was v tasty -pork n fries & lobster butty). Queue 15 mins for a drink from the one place serving pints. Being forced to pay an extra quid each for a plastic cup is obscene. (Use compostable glasses for crying out loud! Haven't you heard about the problem with plastics??) No entertainment, no atmosphere. We listened to a bit of Egyptian jazz on a tinny speaker. It's like some weird festival in the Twilight Zone where all the entertainment has been abducted by aliens and only the food stalls remain. Never again! ... And just to reiterate- Don't use so much plastic!

It was a nice day out- a pretty little walk from the car park to the actual site and itβs looks lovely when you get there. Iβm not quite sure what the entrance fee get you? You donβt pay for parking, which is great. Unfortunately, nothing to do for little ones as we didnβt see any entertainment, which was a shame. The food and drink was lovely, although a little on the high side (to be expected). Overall, weβre 50/50 if we would do it again next year.

A seven-strong group of us visited on a Sat morning slot with six children aged from 18 months to 15 years and we all had a wonderful time. The setting is just gorgeous, you feel like you've stumbled across a runaway circus - I bet it looks even better lit up at night! The smaller kids loved the circus skills and exploring the site. All the food we had was excellent, and only short queue times. Highlights were Rock & Scallop's mixed seafood brioche and Fire & Flank's steak with dauphinoise. A friend really rated the baby ramen too, and my toddler enjoyed the gyoza. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the car park. We'll definitely visit again.

I do love this festival! Every year I get a group of friends together and the staff are always so plight and friendly. My only criticism is that the vendors charge far too much. But that's part and parcel I guess. I would 100% recommend to anyone who loves a bit of music and some superb food served in a captivating atmosphere in the forest!
