Rubbish, stood in a queue waiting to be served as we requested food, only one barrister on duty and the person was prioritising screen self service. Stood for over half an hour to be served. Don't waste your time, bring a flask.
Rude staff, awful service, reluctance to fulfil simple requests, dismissive attitudes. The Costa at the South Entrance is so much better..
Really disappointed with my visit today. I ordered a signature latte, and what I got looked like a flat latte with a bit of chocolate sprinkled on top, there was no foam at all. I asked the lady behind the counter about it, and her attitude was honestly quite rude. She just said “that’s how it’s supposed to be, a flat latte with chocolate sprinkles” and seemed annoyed that I even asked. I’ve had signature lattes so many times before and they always come with that nice thick, creamy foam. This one was nothing like it. Overall, the drink and the customer service were a letdown. I won’t be getting it from this Costa again. The older lady who made my coffee was honestly very rude. I only asked a simple question, and she reacted like I was annoying her. Her tone and attitude really caught me off guard and made the whole interaction uncomfortable.
The Costa Coffee shop situated in the reception of Northampton General Hospital should be avoided at all costs if you want good customer service. The staff are sooo rude it’s quite unbelievable. Good customer service goes above and beyond, these staff don’t even hit a one star baseline. If they don’t like their job, and/or it’s too much trouble to serve customers with what they are paying for, then they should not work there. I advise people to make the effort to go to the hospital ground floor Costa, - exit to the car park- where they will be treated as a customer should be.
For my fave Costa staff ever they are very good at making me happy when I get my drinks and cake and there is no flies on them or their cakes. Dan and the crew are so attentive I hope their manager lets them know how valued they are from me. Americano & raspberry almond slice girl. They will know who it is.
