Good food at great prices. Two of us had scampi & chips, the other two pie of the day with chips. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Bread and butter pudding and custard was lovely. Friendly staff.

Great selection of ales perfectly poured. Lovely gardens and homely interior. Only 3 stars because I was made to feel very unwelcome as im not a local.

After reading good reviews we went for drinks with our dog, with the intention of booking to dine later in the week. The landlady was cold and offhand, certainly not welcoming in anyway. We had 1 drink and left. Maybe it’s a pub for locals, not strangers? The beer was superb. Sad as we didn’t feel comfortable to return for dinner.

Stopped by for lunch after reading it had won North Beds CAMRA Pub of the Year. Was not disappointed, lunch was very nice, good real ale selection and lovely front garden to enjoy it all. Service was friendly also. A real gem.

Revisited at lunchtime today. What a lovely village pub! Excellent two pints ( Potbelly) in perfect nick. £4.10 a pint, woo hoo! Spotless loos. Super landlady to talk to. Plenty of oldie lunchtime customers. Decent home made lunches esp the esps! Glorious garden to sit out in. Great to see a room with Northants skittles in it too. And best of all, whether you go out the front or back there's a bus stop right there to get you home. I loved it! Go, I beseech you!!

Nice lunch with friends. Although they were fully booked for lunch time, they were welcoming and made room for us to eat. Nice friendly staff.

Visited this week, good atmosphere and well kept beer. Didn't eat but food looked good and there were plenty of people dining

This was a really nice surprise we stumbled across on Mother's Day 2022. We had been out in a neighbouring village and came in for a bite, sitting outside in their spacious garden. The owner/staff was incredibly kind to us (we rocked up with two toddlers) and attentive to all the customers; the food was simple fare but very well done and so so delicious. Would really recommend, had great meal! Thank you very much.
