   aiden is a gem serves perfect pints, the landlord is accepting and one of the only landlords i know to drink and be on the same level as the customers, pub cats are a bonus and the glasses are specularly clean

   Nice old fashioned pub with a modest size garden. Good selection of ales & ciders, friendly down to earth staff. Darts board & bar billiards table. Decent selection on the jukebox with the option of requesting songs.

   Due to lack of soft furnishings it is VERY loud and makes conversation difficult. Especially when one chap insisted on shouting to his friends rather than talking. There are approximately eight real ales on tap but most are the common variety and nothing special. One beer we tried was in very poor condition and we couldn't finish it. The glasses were very dirty. However, the barmaid was very friendly and welcoming and the prices were very cheap.
