Been drinking in the Abington for almost 10 years now and it remains my favourite pub in Northampton. Truly a pub with something for everyone and Simon and the team do everything they can to treat everyone like regulars. If you're new to Northampton and looking for a community feel, the Abington is a great place to start.
Fantastic pub, in a great location (out of the Town center!) The landlord is very welcoming and very personable. The pub hosts lots of events and there is always sport on the TV. Food is served hot and promptly. Would highly recommend!
I had a delicious meal-out with my family here around two weeks ago. The waitress who served us was very pleasant and helped us with our requests. The atmosphere was a little rowdy but it wasn't overbearing and it allowed for dogs. The food was decent but could've been better. Overall, not a bad place to eat.
Me and my best mate did a bit of a bar crawl for Sunday fun day. We thought of having a drink at the pub first but ending up having drinks and a Sunday roast that was very good and big. Very good value. Good times.
Took my parents for Christmas Dinner yesterday. It was really lovely, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the quality of the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning next year! Thank you Will and his team
Large group of us went to celebrate Xmas , a lot of money spent behind the bar however one member of staff who I think is the manager was extremely rude when waiting to get served to one of my friends for no reason at all. Not the first time we’ve experienced rudeness at this place. Won’t be spending any money there again.
Great pub it has changed over the years but it is now a great family pub and has lots of character. Food was average but fills a gap if your hungry. Beer is great cold and clean youbcan tell the lines are cleaned regularly.
