Booked the function room for a 50th birthday party, had the best night! The team were really friendly and easy to deal with, communication was great, and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a venue.

Did not have food. Lovely staff and good atmosphere- there is usually a game on the screen, and poker on Thursdays.

Brilliant working men's club. Staff are really good, club is spacious and clean. Members are friendly and hospitable. Nice place to go and get a cheap drink and have a laugh too **Update** Sunday Roasts are now available each week. Standard of food, and portions is exemplary. £15 Pork £16 Chicken £17 Beef Faultless quality and taste. Great service too. Can book online too. Loads of seating available. @high5dinnerclub are the providers, courtesy of the Club. Do not miss out. Best Sunday dinner around.

Came from London visiting my friend and I had a great time. My dog Rocco and I felt warmed and welcomed.

We went to a party there lovely little room, only downside was you couldn't buy drinks from the other bar unless you were a member, which made the wait to be serve quite long.

Nice place to chat and relax. Good selection of drinks, including real ale, at competitive prices.

Had a great time in there one night when they had a singer on. Two weeks later they wouldn't even let my boyfriend and I in on a weekday lunchtime. It's their prerogative as a 'club' of course, but I would rather they'd of turned us away the first time than pick and choose when they want to earn money.

Excellent club, friendly staff, great live music and prices far better than pubs and they sell pork pie

Very nice place if you like that sort of thing, which I do. One star off because the first blokes I met supported Chelsea and Man U. But back on cos of the mediocre review from the other reviewer. Note, it is members-only, costs just over 14 quid a year, though. Not really likely to leave you living on the streets. Been busy, so not tried it on a sports day, but it looks very promising from that point of view. It has a nice games room, a decent pool table, skittles and the usual trimmings. With its own wide screen TV. Seems like a tidy place. You can get some food, but it is of the sort that's eaten straight away, the early bird catches the cheese and onion roll. The lady I assume to be the manageress is firm, but fair.
