They say if Carlsberg made BBs. This would be the cream of the company. I can't fault a single thing with Wayside. The rooms are outstanding. The view from the bedroom windows. Your own personal seating area We booked both there rooms. Make up your own mind (ok its raining). An amazing breakfast as well. Then the owners are very attentive. Nothing is a problem. Highly recommend
Stayed there a week ago, December 2024, if you don't mind cobwebs, dust, cracked, broken tiles in the en-suite with grout missing, dirty shower, dirty worktop where you prepare the breakfast, an uncomfortable bed with an appalling bedspread full of dust you'll be fine. The breakfast wasn't very nice, the loaf of bread was out of date the first morning, the cereal was in glass jars that were sticky on the outside. The fridge was a good touch but unbelievably noisy on a night and kept me awake. It most definitely was not as the photos showed, same room but very dated. So no, I'll not be returning and this is an honest review, I've never made a negative review in all my travels.
Lovely spacious rooms all round. Well equipped kitchen if required. Both bedrooms ensuite. Located in a beautiful quiet part of Norfolk but also close to Norwich city centre. Will definitely be back for another stay.
Nice 1 night over stay, dog friendly and good size rooms.
Really nice place to stay. Good location for Broads etc. Continental Breakfast in room is great idea as you can plan your day at your leisure. Superb pub 20 yards away. All in all spot on.
Lovely B&B, ideal location for the Broads. Breakfast DIY, but provided. Great as we didn't have to present ourselves at a dining room by a given time. Safe place with a walled and gated patio for our dog. Pub over the road. Perfect for our needs. Moires the host was very welcoming and helpful.
Very comfortable large room, ample continental breakfast & very nice owners. Extremely good value. Particularly convenient for the very popular pub which is a short walk away. . The FOUR English lamb chops were delicious, especially as we only expected two. Thick & perfectly cooked. Couldn't possibly have tried desserts as dinner so large.
