I was actually here as a business . Pure Party Treats , to help set up their Parlour room for a 16th Birthday . All beautifully laid out & staff very helpful and kind too.

Just had a great one night stay. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely bedroom overlooking the garden and slept really well. We had a truly incredible dinner at Mark Poynton's restaurant. Breakfast was very good. A bonus was then being able to wander through the garden to the temporary archaeological dig currently there, then walk ten minutes away to the site where there once was a Roman town. The hotel is extremely convenient as a base to visit Norwich - within ten minutes of leaving, we were parked in the city centre. (The recently reopened castle is well worth a visit.) We will definitely return - many thanks to everyone.

Truly amazing staff before and during our stay. We booked several rooms and a special evening meal for a family Golden Wedding celebration. Danielle at Caistor Hall worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect in our bedrooms (one required oxygen supplies delivered in advance). We were kindly allocated The Rose room for our meal and it was so beautiful. Both Danielle and Luke attended to our entire family with so much care during the meal and our entire stay. Breakfast the following morning in the main dining room was lovely and Michelle was so lovely. Such a quirky building with lots of character.

We stayed there for just one night. After checking in briefly after 6 PM, we went out for a few hours, returned to sleep, and left after breakfast just before 9:15 AM the following morning. That being said, one could argue that I didn't stay long enough to fully experience what the place had to offer. While it had the potential to be great, our experience was marred by a few issues, such as cobwebs and dead insects on and beneath the radiators in the bathroom. Unfortunately, my wife bit into what she described as a stone while eating her vegan breakfast, which she mentioned to the server, who kindly apologized. Another reason I couldn't give a 5 rating was the limited amount of shower gel provided. It was only about 30 ml, barely enough for two adults and a toddler to wash their hands, let alone shower thoroughly upon arrival or the following morning. The Egg Benedict was too salty I'm afraid. I'm not sure if the Michelin Chef has chosen this breakfast menu but definitely sure the standards of the servings can be hugely improved by removing the squash and have a variety other than the oven vegan which tends to dry quickly. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, clean, and room was quiet. *I only included pictures as evidence to help the hotel improve its standards.*

All the staff very friendly and helpful from the start to the end. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely bed and bathroom leading to excellent nights sleep. Both the evening meal and breakfast was first class. Overall excellent.

Only had a meal at Caistor Hall Hotel on a Friday lunch time. Had the Menu de jour very nice food well laid out and enjoyable. Service excellent. The reception and dining rooms are excellent. Location easy to find with plenty of parking. Will definitely eat here again and would recommend it. Will add a photo next time I done there.

My partner took me to this hotel for 2 nights as a surprise for my birthday and I absolutely can’t fault it. From start to finish the staff were so attentive. We stayed in the garden suite and the room was finished to a high standard, the bed was honestly the most comfy bed we’ve ever slept in! We enjoyed breakfast and dined at the hotel for Saturday dinner and Sunday roast lunch. The food was amazing! The staff made it extra special for my birthday with a candle in my morning pastries and also in the dessert after dinner. A special shout out to Michelle and Becky for their kind hospitality, always going above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and they both made a real effort to make us feel comfortable with their service. We’ll definitely be returning to both stay and eat and Caistor Hall hotel and can’t recommend it enough.

If you love quality then this is the place for you! Great food, amazing service and a fantastic setting. I love local food that is prepared and presented with care and the chef here certainly does this. The staff on duty were professional and caring and obviously love what they do. We came as casual β€œwalk ins β€œ but will return again in the not to distant future. Only other advice may be to wear a base layer as the dining room was a tad on the cool side. No photos as we enjoyed ourselves too much to take any.
