   Beautiful little cottage on water front. We visited the I laws who were staying there. Shops and restaurants near by. And perfect for those who would like a boat trip.

   Good bits first , location excellent layout of cottage very good. Now the other bits. We booked Puffin cottage for one week at a cost of £850. When we arrived the cleaning crew were in the proximity and assured us our cottage was clean and good to go. My partner found one of the bed side lamps was not working, I informed the service crew and the lady said " can't you make do with one" not the point I think anyway needless to say a new bulb was not forthcoming. The kettle was in a state because of Limescale, the toilet basin was stained, the bottom of the shower doors were minging, the shaving mirror above the sink had the majority of bulbs blown, there was very little water pressure on the bathroom sink and the water drained very slowly probably caused by a blockage forming, the blind in the bedroom didn't open and shut properly due to it being bent and twisted, the cooker hood was thick with dust, and we had a fly problem inside the front door in the little hall upto a dozen big bluebottles daily and we couldn't find where they were coming from. We raised the issues with the owners on our last day so they could rectify the problems for the next customer. They accused us of looking for faults and taking photos, my point being if there are no faults there are no photos so provide the service that people are paying there hard earned money for. The did offer us £100 good will gesture, we declined it's not about the money it's the service we pay for.

   Have been coming here for 4 years and love it each time. A wonderful week to relax and enjoy the views. Cottages are always clean and tidy with a good basic kitchen. Some even have washing facilities which can help if you are away for a week or two. Always remember to bring your essentials as this is not a hotel so you will need toilet paper, wash tablets ect.

   My friend books Albion Cottage for a week to mainly fish but I join him for a couple of days to relax without the fishing! It's a lovely location on the broads & short walk into the town.

   The cottage was very clean and comfortable. My partner enjoyed the fishing and I liked being able to walk into the village where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Hope to return soon.
